Selected Messages book 1 says that when Jesus went into the desert for his 40 day fast and temptations, it says that "The glory departed...." What exactly does that mean? What departed?
The glory is the presence of the Holy Spirit isn't it? Chapter 21 of the 1858 Great Controversy describes what the church would be like if she hadn't compromised with the world - might, strong as an army with banners, casting out demons, healing, and a terror to her enemies.
that's interesting you say that..... I have a friend that thought that but then she talked to several pastors of SDA origin and they said it was not......
