Hello, your site is fascinating. Is the site owner a Seventh-day Adventist? As a baptized Adventist, I am encouraged you are linking to the SDA 2023 Great Controversy project of the church.
Anyway, the reason I am writing is because I am curious to know why, apart from the fact that the 1858 version is written in the first person, do you not promote the 1911 version? Are there other reasons/changes/omissions you can point to that make the 1911 version inferior to the the original version?
I get it that you would lose search relevance if you changed to a https domain, and I still risked the unsecured site, but I think many, many others would not be willing to take that chance, not understanding the technology.
God bless your ministry
PS: I could not display the challenge in Firefox, so I had to use ungoogled Chrome.
I'm quite you are the person who contacted me on Youtube yesterday, and I answered you there already.
If not, I'll be happy to explain more in detail here.
Yes, I am, by God's grace, a baptized member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, God's remnant church that is in a terrible Laodicean condition.
I have no idea what you mean by "lose search relevance" by changing to a https domain.
The reason I do not use the https domain is because: 1: It is expensive 2: The SSL certificates are usually only good for 3 or 6 months. So, if I should die or not be able to pay for that, my site would be taken entirely off the net. As it is, my site will stay on the net until the end of my current paid period, which is until 2031. Hopefully Jesus will come before then! But yes, I know that many browsers make it very difficult to even reach a non-https site these days. It is unfortunate, in my opinion.
I don't understand what you mean by "challenge".
God bless you in your studies, and again, I'll explain more if you would like.
