This is great news that a Seventh-day Adventist, James Marape, was elected as the head of the Papua New Guinea government recently.

Now will Walter Veith and Andrew Henriques etc. repent for saying the elections are all rigged by the "puppet masters" and that to even run for office is against God's will, and that voting for our leaders is pleasing to Satan (even when Ellen White writes plainly that NOT voting is pleasing to Satan)?

Father iin heaven, may you bless Br. Marape in his important position leading over 8,000,000 souls made in your image.

Dear Father God, please bless James Marape as he leads PNG. May he be fearless. May he stay true to biblical truth. In Jesus name, Amen.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.  Joshua 1:9.  
You must not fear them, for the Lord your God Himself fights for you.  Deuteronomy 3:22.  
And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you.  He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.  Deuteronomy 31:8. Do not be afraid of their faces, for I am with you to deliver you, says the Lord.  Jeremiah 1:8. 

Take courage from Revelation 2:10, .Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

Indeed.

His father was a pioneer missionary.

 

Corruption is a huge problem in PNG politics. He certainly needs our prayers.

 

It is possible that opportunities will be given to the church in PNG. Let's pray they are ready and have godly wisdom.

 

God bless you for taking notice of this often overlooked nation.
