Well, I hope everyone is enjoying the start of 2018. Nice to know we are one year closer to seeing Jesus in the clouds!
I checked the stats of this earlysda.com web site recently to see what language of the 1858 Great Controversy was being downloaded the most.
1. English - around 1100/month
2. Malagasy - 200/ I have no clue why this language is so popular, except that we did print 2000 copies around 14 years ago (?)
3. Cebuano - 170/ Makes sense, as the Brother I support a bit is actively printing and selling this book.
4. Tagalog - 160/ Makes sense, as the Brother I support a bit is actively printing and selling this book.
5. Ilocano - 100/ Makes sense, as the Brother I support a bit is actively printing and selling this book.
6. Romanian - 80/ Glad to see this European translation get many downloads.
7. Malay - 70/ This version was printed and I helped spread it in 2007.
8. Ilonggo - 60/ Another Filipino language, but not as widely used.
I was sad to see my own Japanese translation getting only around 30/. Same with the Korean and Chinese ones.
It was cool to see that many people were downloading Bible checklist sheets. In some months, Indian languages and Nepali were at the top!
Of course I know that not all of these downloads are getting read, as some are just by spiders and bots crawling the web to index it, but no doubt some of them are being read and believed in.
Please join me in praying for these people, that they will stand strong tho the heavens fall.
