I still would like to know if we have an inspired writing saying that Jesus ate meat.  I haven:t found it anywhere.

I do know that he ate fish, but then, fish is of a different class of animal, as evidenced from the account given of Noah:s Flood.

The reason is, I want to be like Jesus, but yes, I do understand that the creation is groaning under a curse, and animals now are more diseased etc. than they were 2000 years ago, so I don:t want to kill and eat, but still, I would like to know if Jesus ever ate meat.

Jesus ate the Passover meal, which implies lamb or goat (Luke 22:7-8, Exodus 12:5-8).

Only implied. Perhaps in fulfillment of Isaiah 7:14-15 Jesus ate butter and honey. It is possible that Jesus was a vegetarian.

I understand when Jesus was a child, he followed his parents as an obedient child should, and probably ate the lamb.  He was also circumcised, as his parents were responsible for that.  The Holy Spirit later expressly stated that circumcision was not important for salvation.

However, I see nothing that says he actually did eat it, and in fact, hints that as an adult, he never did eat it.

All the sacrifices and oblations ended at the cross - Jesus himself was the ultimate sacrifice.
