Just yesterday, a new law in Japan was passed ostensibly to combat group-connected terrorism, and to conform to the United Nations treaty against organized crime.

However, even UN officials have expressed concern to the Japanese government that the privacy issues raised in this new law are problematic.

Bascially, it would allow the govt. to prosecute you if you even talked about something that might be deemed *criminal* with another person.

One paper noted: "The enactment of the revised anti-organized crime law came amid staunch criticism that it could curtail civil liberties such as the right to privacy, upending a long-standing principle in the nation's criminal law that one can only be punished after committing a crime."

Some have noted that it is somewhat similar to a 1925 law that was eventually used to persecute Christians, and try to force everyone to worship the emperor.  A SDA friend called me yesterday and said that some people are talking as if the persecution has already started.  While that is far overblown, it is a big concern about how the police and justice system might go about enforcing this extremely vague law.

No doubt this is one more step into forming Babylon.  It should also be a wake-up call to us SDAs to be active in trying to hold back the tide of evil by our votes, and by warning people of the plans Satan has for a New World Order.
