Three individuals have the delusion of Godhead
Satan
Pope
King of Tyrus
All three are created beings, Satan is both spirit and solid PRN, The King of Tyrus stays dead at the Second Coming of Christ, Satan flees to whatever is the best hiding place, the Pope is consumed by the brightness and specific judgment upon himself as a personal competitor against Christ, as is Satan who rules the Pope; but Satan dies 1000 yrs later in Lake of Fire, along with Pope & King of Tyrus.
Part of Satans punishment is 1000 yrs on earth deprived of the ability to leave, not one to tempt, waiting to be destroyed according to the measure of every iota of his culpability and guilt for creating and maintaining sin and robbing God of billions of children.
Going from known to uncover unknown by elimination:
Satan lives for 1000+ yrs after Second Coming.
King of Tyre - no statement in Scripture that says he is resurrected to see Jesus Come, so is already dirt & dust at the Second Coming.
Pope is left by elimination, then look at the object of the passage, pope is man of sin, and language uses same focus when calling pope "man of sin" and "son of perdition" then calling pope "that wicked" who is alive and gets consumed by the Second Coming.
After all before Jesus reaches Earth's atmosphere it is ignited and set on fire covering the whole planet, it is defiling and gets removed.

" In the day of His coming, the last great trumpet is heard, and there is a terrible shaking of earth and heaven. The whole earth, from the loftiest mountains to the deepest mines, will hear. Everything will be penetrated by fire. The tainted atmosphere will be cleansed by fire. The fire having fulfilled its mission, the dead that have been laid away in the grave will come forth--some to the resurrection of life, to be caught up to meet their Lord in the air, and some to behold the coming of Him whom they have despised and whom they now recognize as the Judge of all the earth. {UL 261.4}
All the righteous are untouched by the flames. They can walk through the fire, as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego walked in the midst of the furnace heated seven times hotter than it was wont to be heated. The Hebrew worthies could not be consumed, because the form of the fourth, the Son of God, was with them. So in the day of the coming of the Lord, smoke and flame will be powerless to harm the righteous. Those who are united with the Lord will escape unscathed. Earthquakes, hurricanes, flame, and flood cannot injure those who are prepared to meet their Saviour in peace. But those who rejected our Saviour, and scourged and crucified Him, will be among those who will be raised from the dead to behold His coming in the clouds of heaven, attended by the heavenly host--ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands. . . . {UL 261.5}

MR No. 628 - Pius VI, The Pope of the Deadly Wound
That afternoon [November 2] he [Elder Bourdeau] had us accompany him to the Cathedral [in Valence, France] and look upon the bust of Pius VI who was noted in prophecy, who was led into captivity and died in captivity. Here was the one marked in history who received the deadly wound. His heart is encased in the marble monument beneath where the bust is located. We felt rather solemn as we looked upon the monument of this man noted in prophecy.--Letter 110, 1886, p. 2. (To W. C. White and wife, November 4, 1886.)
These are interesting quotes about the atmosphere being burned up/purified.
How does that fit in with the following inspired quote tho, from the 1858 Great Controversy?
After the saints were delivered by the voice of God, the rage of the wicked multitude was turned upon each other. The earth seemed to be deluged with blood, and dead bodies were from one end of the earth to the other.
It sounds to me like most of the wicked will be dead before Christ is ever seen in the clouds.
Also, I have a little problem understanding about when those who crucified Christ will be raised. It looks quite clear that it will be at the 2nd Coming in some places, but the 1858gc only mentions it at the 3rd Coming. Also, the Bible says that people only die once, then after that the judgment (paraphrase). Will those people die 3 times instead of only 2 like all the other wicked humans?

It is very clear WB... the 3rd coming is the resurrection of the wicked. Bible says only righteous will come up at the 2nd coming. Both bible and original sop agree on this one.
The special resurrection is of the righteous that died during the proclamation of the 3rd angel's message.
Re 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
Yes many will wail that they did not come up to His Way and many too that never even made a profession to follow Him. Yes and I too find the earth will be littered with bodies.
There is room for doubt here as when He comes at the second resurrection He comes with the Holy City and all the Saints with Him in it.
Know Jesus, die once, No Jesus , die twice. There is nothing to say that this might well be the second and last death for those who pierced Him.
We might ought to look up all we can find on the coming down of the Holy City, the new Jerusalem which measures approxamatly. 1300 miles four square.
Perhaps those who pierced Him never had a chance to see Him after His resurrection.
Then Jesus and all the holy retinue of angels, and all the redeemed saints, left the City. The holy angels surrounded Jesus, and escorted him on his way, and the train of redeemed saints followed. Then Jesus in terrible, fearful majesty called forth the wicked dead; and as they came up with the same feeble, sickly bodies that went into the grave, what a spectacle! what a scene! At the first resurrection all came forth in immortal bloom; but at the second, the marks of the curse are visible on all. Kings and the noble men of earth come forth with the mean and the low, learned and unlearned together. All behold the Son of man; and those very men who despised and mocked Jesus, and smote him with the reed, and that put the crown of thorns upon his sacred brow behold him in all his kingly majesty. Those who spit upon him in the hour of his trial, now turn from his piercing gaze, and from the glory of his countenance. Those who drove the nails through his hands and his feet, now look upon the marks of his crucifixion. Those who thrust the spear into his side, behold the marks of their cruelty on his body. And they know that he is the very One whom they crucified, and derided in his expiring agony. And then there arises one long protracted wail of agony, as they flee to hide from the presence of the King of kings and Lord of lords. {GC 1858}
pierced Him = 30 hits - it almost seems like those who pierced Jesus die three times .
It is at midnight that God manifests His power for the deliverance of His people. The sun appears, shining in its strength. Signs and wonders follow in quick succession. The wicked look with terror and amazement upon the scene, while the righteous behold with solemn joy the tokens of their deliverance. Everything in nature seems turned out of its course. The streams cease to flow. Dark, heavy clouds come up and clash against each other. In the midst of the angry heavens is one clear space of indescribable glory, whence comes the voice of God like the sound of many waters, saying: "It is done." Revelation 16:17. {DD 46.3}
That voice shakes the heavens and the earth. There is a mighty earthquake, "such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great." Verses 17, 18. The firmament appears to open and shut. The glory from the throne of God seems flashing through. The mountains shake like a reed in the wind, and ragged rocks are scattered on every side. There is a roar as of a coming tempest. The sea is lashed into fury. There is heard the shriek of a hurricane like the voice of demons upon a mission of destruction. The whole earth heaves and swells like the waves of the sea. Its surface is breaking up. Its very foundations seem to be giving way. Mountain chains are sinking. Inhabited islands disappear. The seaports that have become like Sodom for wickedness are swallowed up by the angry waters. Babylon the great has come in remembrance before God, "to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath." Great hailstones, every one "about the weight of a talent," are doing their work of destruction. Verses 19, 21. The proudest cities of the earth are laid low. The lordly palaces, upon which the world's great men have lavished their wealth in order to glorify themselves, are crumbling to ruin before their eyes. Prison walls are rent asunder, and God's people, who have been held in bondage for their faith, are set free. {DD 46.4}
The Resurrection Hour
Graves are opened, and "many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth. . . awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt." Daniel 12:2. All who have died in the faith of the third angel's message come forth from the tomb glorified, to hear God's covenant of peace with those who have kept His law. "They also which pierced Him" (Revelation 1:7), those that mocked and derided Christ's dying agonies, and the most violent opposers of His truth and His people, are raised to behold Him in His glory and to see the honor placed upon the loyal and obedient. {DD 47.1}
***********************************************
Terribly was it realized in the destruction of Jerusalem. Terribly has it been manifested in the condition of the Jewish nation for eighteen hundred years,--a branch severed from the vine, a dead, fruitless branch, to be gathered up and burned. From land to land throughout the world, from century to century, dead, dead in trespasses and sins! {DA 739.2}
Terribly will that prayer be fulfilled in the great judgment day. When Christ shall come to the earth again, not as a prisoner surrounded by a rabble will men see Him. They will see Him then as heaven's King. Christ will come in His own glory, in the glory of His Father, and the glory of the holy angels. Ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands of angels, the beautiful and triumphant sons of God, possessing surpassing loveliness and glory, will escort Him on His way. Then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory, and before Him shall be gathered all nations. Then every eye shall see Him, and they also that pierced Him. In the place of a crown of thorns, He will wear a crown of glory,--a crown within a crown. In place of that old purple kingly robe, He will be clothed in raiment of whitest white, "so as no fuller on earth can white them." Mark 9:3. And on His vesture and on His thigh a name will be written, "King of kings, and Lord of lords." Revelation 19:16. Those who mocked and smote Him will be there. The priests and rulers will behold again the scene in the judgment hall. Every circumstance will appear before them, as if written in letters of fire. Then those who prayed, "His blood be on us, and on our children," will receive the answer to their prayer. Then the whole world will know and understand. They will realize who and what they, poor, feeble, finite beings, have been warring against. In awful agony and horror they will cry to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: for the great day of His wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?" Revelation 6:16, 17. {DA 739.3}
After the saints are changed to immortality and caught up together with Jesus, after they receive their harps, their robes, and their crowns, and enter the city, Jesus and the saints sit in judgment. The books are opened--the book of life and the book of death. The book of life contains the good deeds of the saints; and the book of death contains the evil deeds of the wicked. These books are compared with the statute book, the Bible, and according to that men are judged. The saints, in unison with Jesus, pass their judgment upon the wicked dead. "Behold ye," said the angel, "the saints, in unison with Jesus, sit in judgment, and mete out to the wicked according to the deeds done in the body, and that which they must receive at the execution of the judgment is set off against their names." This, I saw, was the work of the saints with Jesus through the one thousand years in the Holy City before it descends to the earth. Then at the close of the one thousand years, Jesus, with the angels and all the saints, leaves the Holy City, and while He is descending to the earth with them, the wicked dead are raised, and then the very men that "pierced Him," being raised, will see Him afar off in all His glory, the angels and saints with Him, and will wail because of Him. They will see the prints of the nails in His hands and in His feet, and where they thrust the spear into His side. The prints of the nails and the spear will then be His glory. It is at the close of the one thousand years that Jesus stands upon the Mount of Olives, and the mount parts asunder and becomes a mighty plain. Those who flee at that time are the wicked, who have just been raised. Then the Holy City comes down and settles on the plain. Satan then imbues the wicked with his spirit. He flatters them that the army in the city is small, and that his army is large, and that they can overcome the saints and take the city. {EW 52.2}

2nd Coming
Those who have acted the most prominent part in the rejection and crucifixion of Christ come forth to see Him as He is, and those who have rejected Christ come upand see the saints glorified, and it is at that time that the saints are changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, and are caught up to meet their Lord in the air.The very ones who placed upon Him the purple robe and put the crown of thorns upon His brow, and those who put the nails through His hands and feet, look upon Him and bewail.--9MR 252 (1886). {LDE 275.1}
They remember how His love was slighted and His compassion abused. They think of how Barabbas, a murderer and a robber, was chosen in His stead, how Jesus was crowned with thorns and scourged and crucified, how in the hours of His agony on the cross the priests and rulers taunted Him, saying, "Let Him come down from the cross, and we will believe Him. He saved others, Himself He cannot save." All the insult and despite offered to Christ, all the suffering caused to His disciples, will be as fresh in their recollection as when the satanic deeds were done. {LDE 275.2}
The voice which they heard so often in entreaty and persuasion will again sound in their ears. Every tone of gracious solicitation will vibrate as distinctly in their ears as when the Saviour spoke in the synagogues and on the street. Then those who pierced Him will call on the rocks and mountains to fall on them and hide them from the face of Him that sitteth on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb.--Letter 131, 1900. {LDE 275.3}
EVEN A CASUAL GLANCE AT SOCIETY TODAY TELLS US THAT THINGS ARE NOT RIGHT. TO MANY, THE WORLD SEEMS TO BE SPINNING OUT OF CONTROL. GROWING NUMBERS OF MEN AND WOMEN FACE THE FUTURE WITH ANXIETY AND CONFUSION. THE WORLD SEEMS LOCKED IN A DOWNWARD SPIRAL THAT IS FAST REACHING A CLIMAX. HOW WILL IT ALL END? HOW WILL THE POLITICAL TERRORISM, AND VIOLENCE, THE GREED AND MATERIALISM, THE STEADY EROSION OF MORAL VALUES, THE DRUG USE, THE AIDS VIRUS, THE STARVATION AND FILLING-HOW WILL ALL THESE CRITICAL PROBLEMS BE RESOLVED? WHERE CAN WE FIND ANSWERS TO THESE SERIOUS QUESTIONS? NOT IN THE TABLOID NEWSPAPERS OR ON THE TV TALK SHOWS. POLITICAL LEADERS-EVEN SPIRITUAL LEADERS-SEEM TO HAVE NO ANSWERS TO THESE VITAL ISSUES. BUT GOD'S WORD, THE BIBLE, PULLS ASIDE THE CURTAIN AND REVEALS THAT OUR WORLD IS INVOLVED IN A COSMIC STRUGGLE BETWEEN GOOD AND EVIL. THIS LITTLE BOOK GOES TO THE BIBLE TO ANSWER THE IMPORTANT QUESTIONS ABOUT HOW THIS CONFLICT BEGAN, WHAT THE ISSUES ARE, HOW WE ALL BECAME INVOLVED, AND HOW IT WILL END. THE CHAPTERS MAKING UP THIS BOOK ARE TAKEN FROM THE AUTHOR'S MAJOR WORK THE GREAT CONTROVERSY BETWEEN CHRIST AND SATAN. THOUGH SOME HAVE BEEN ABRIDGED TO MEET THE LENGTH REQUIREMENTS OF THIS SMALL BOOK, THEY STILL PROVIDE VALUABLE INSIGHTS INTO CURRENT SOCIAL, POLITICAL, AND RELIGIOUS DEVELOPMENTS. All the wicked come up at the 3rd coming or 2nd resurrection.

NB, I have read something very interesting in one of the books of Enoch that only the bodies are dead now and Yah has a place of keeping of the spirits of the righteous and a place of keeping of the spirits of the damned.
In that case Yah would not have to raise them bodily to see Jesus Christ come in the clouds the first time.
This does bear out as when EGW was taken off in vision it was her spirit and her body was left here and she didn't breath until she came back into it. Mirrors were held close to her face and it proved she did not and her body was rigid and on one occasion she held a very large Bible out the whole time of which was not possible even for a strong man.
Our eyes at present are closed to see the spirit world but can be opened if Yah has a purpose.

Beware, the gnostic gospels are not true. They are a work of Satan. When you read them, they tell you it is truth and true history, but it is not. They are a lie. Trust in the KJV bible and your original SOP. Please be careful. I have known several men that have believed in these gnostic gospels and they have fallen away....
NB, I can't bring myself to believe you would class Enoch's writings as Gnostic! His writings were to be brought down and kept to the consummation and his writings have always been valuable and are to this day!
61 But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?
62 And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
63 Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses?
64 Ye have heard the blasphemy: what think ye? And they all condemned him to be guilty of death.
The High Priest died some yrs after 33 AD = Death #1.
By Christs own words this priest shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. ( The Second Coming ) , so this priest gets raised from the dead at the Second Coming to feel the wrath of the Lamb. = Death #2.
Satan is loosed from his prison when the all wicked dead are raised, later the executive judgment is completed and all wicked are engulfed and die in the Lake of Fire = death #3.
Soon there appears in the east a small black cloud, about half the size of a man's hand. It is the cloud which surrounds the Saviour, and which seems in the distance to be shrouded in darkness. The people of God know this to be the sign of the Son of man. In solemn silence they gaze upon it as it draws nearer the earth, becoming lighter and more glorious, until it is a great white cloud, its base a glory like consuming fire, and above it the rainbow of the covenant. Jesus rides forth as a mighty conqueror, and the armies of Heaven follow him. With songs of triumph, a vast retinue of holy angels escort him on his way. The firmament seems filled with shining forms, ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands. No pen can picture, no human mind conceive, the glory of the scene. As the living cloud comes still nearer, Jesus can be clearly seen. He does not wear a crown of thorns, but a crown of glory rests upon his holy brow. His countenance shines as the noonday sun. Upon his vesture and thigh is a name written, "King of kings, and Lord of lords." {4SP 458.2}
Before him every face turns pale, and upon those whom God has rejected, falls the blackness of despair. The righteous cry with trembling, "Who shall be able to stand?" The song of the angels ceases, and there is a period of awful silence. Then the voice of Jesus is heard, saying, "My grace is sufficient for you." The faces of the righteous are lighted up, and joy fills every heart. And the angels strike a note higher, and sing again, as they draw still nearer to the earth. {4SP 459.1}
The King of kings descends upon the cloud, wrapped in flaming fire. The earth trembles before him, the heavens are rolled together as a scroll, and every mountain and every island is moved out of its place. Says the psalmist: "Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence; a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him. He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people. Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. And the heavens shall declare his righteousness; for God is judge himself." [Psalm 50:3-6.] {4SP 459.2}
"And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every freeman, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb; for the great day of his wrath is come, and who shall be able to stand?" [Revelation 6:15-17.] {4SP 460.1}
The derisive jests have ceased. Lying lips are hushed into silence. The clash of arms, the tumult of battle, "with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood," [Isaiah 9:5.] is stilled. Naught now is heard but the voice of prayer and the sound of weeping and lamentation. The cry bursts forth from lips so lately scoffing, "The great day of His wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?" The wicked pray to be covered by the rocks of the mountains, rather than meet the face of Him whom they have despised and rejected. {4SP 460.2}
Those who mocked Christ in his humiliation are in that throng. With thrilling power come to their minds the Sufferer's words, when, adjured by the high priest, he solemnly declared, "Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven." [Matthew 26:64.] Now they behold Christ in his glory, and they are yet to see him sitting on the right hand of power. {4SP 460.3}
YI & 12MR, neither one had nothing to do with Uriah Smith , but YI & 12MR still mirrors what I posted before. This describes the trial of Christ and Christs Second Coming
To the charge of the high priest, Jesus said, "Thou hast said: nevertheless, I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven." With dignity and assurance were these words spoken; for they fell from the lips of One whose spirit went with them. The only begotten Son of God was the speaker, and into the hearts of his hearers flashed the conviction, "Never man spake like this man." {YI, May 31, 1900 par. 4}
Weighted with such great results, this was to Christ one of the most wonderful moments of his life. He realized that now all disguise must be swept away. The declaration that he was one with God had been made. He had openly proclaimed himself the Son of God, the One for whom the Jews had so long looked. {YI, May 31, 1900 par. 5}
"Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven." At that day Christ will be the Judge. Every secret thing will be set in the light of God's countenance. What a contrast there will then be between those who have refused Christ and those who have received him as a personal Saviour. Sinners will then see their sins without a shadow to veil or soften their hideousness. So woeful will be the sight, that they will desire to be hidden under the mountains or in the depths of the ocean, if only they may escape the wrath of the Lamb. But those whose life is hid with Christ in God can say: "I believe in him who was condemned at Pilate's bar, and given up to the priests and rulers to be crucified. Look not upon me, a sinner, but look upon my Advocate. There is nothing in me worthy of the love he manifested for me: but he gave his life for me. Behold me in Jesus. He became sin for me, that I might be made the righteousness of God in him." {YI, May 31, 1900 par. 6}
Then Jesus and all the retinue of holy angels, and all the redeemed saints, left the city. The angels surrounded their Commander and escorted Him on His way, and the train of redeemed saints followed. Then, in terrible, fearful majesty, Jesus called forth the wicked dead; and they came up with the same feeble, sickly bodies that went into the grave. What a spectacle! what a scene! At the first resurrection all came forth in immortal bloom; but at the second the marks of the curse are visible on all. The kings and noblemen of the earth, the mean and low, the learned and unlearned, come forth together. All behold the Son of man; and those very men who despised and mocked Him, who put the crown of thorns upon His sacred brow, and smote Him with the reed, behold Him in all His kingly majesty. Those who spit upon Him in the hour of His trial now turn from His piercing gaze and from the glory of His countenance. Those who drove the nails through His hands and feet now look upon the marks of His crucifixion. Those who thrust the spear into His side behold the marks of their cruelty on His body. And they know that He is the very one whom they crucified and derided in His expiring agony. And then there arises one long protracted wail of agony, as they flee to hide from the presence of the King of kings and Lord of lords. {EW 292.1}

Ed, why can't you see that the later versions have been changed by U. Smith? Go to the originals and it tells something different. All are quotes from SOP and the only difference is that yours all stem from
GC 1911, 1888
U. Smith says this in his book on page 326. He himself said that he did not believe that she was inspired and therefore thought it okay to change what she said and put in his own ideas that were wrong. He has led so many astray that I'm sure he will be lost.
There seems to be a part of the Book of Enoch that is from God, and part that is from Satan. There is a lot about fallen angels coming down and marrying human women and having kids that is total rubbish. Beware that book!
However, the Holy Spirit did have Ellen White write something to the effect that the saints at the end time will know the hidden book. From her other writings, it is obvious that she was talking about the Apocrypha. Personally, I believe Esdras I and II are definitely inspired, with maybe parts of the Maccabees. There are some books in the Apocrypha tho that are just crazy (Tobit etc.)
The comment about no one dying three times is quite powerful to me. That agrees with the Bible and early SOP material too. I believe Uriah Smith was the worst Judas ever in the SDA camp, but whether he repented before his death or not, I don't know. Yes, I'm aware he did repent after the 1888 debacle, but soon he was back to his old ways.
BTW, the White Estate has basically been forced to release previously unreleased Ellen White writings. I'm starting to go thru it, and what I've read so far has several very pointed messages to Uriah's wife.
After Return of the Latter Rain I look at U Smith differently, but the Bible Verses & what is known from Scripture causes me to believe that those who pierced Christ die three times.
Also who are the two groups spoken of in Daniel 12: 1 ¶ And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

The Resurrection Hour
Graves are opened, and "many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth. . . awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt." Daniel 12:2. All who have died in the faith of the third angel's message come forth from the tomb glorified, to hear God's covenant of peace with those who have kept His law. "They also which pierced Him" (Revelation 1:7), those that mocked and derided Christ's dying agonies, and the most violent opposers of His truth and His people, are raised to behold Him in His glory and to see the honor placed upon the loyal and obedient. {DD 47.1}
" It was at midnight that God chose to deliver His people. As the wicked were mocking around them, suddenly the sun appeared, shining in his strength, and the moon stood still. The wicked looked upon the scene with amazement, while the saints beheld with solemn joy the tokens of their deliverance. Signs and wonders followed in quick succession. Everything seemed turned out of its natural course. The streams ceased to flow. Dark, heavy clouds came up and clashed against each other. But there was one clear place of settled glory, whence came the voice of God like many waters, shaking the heavens and the earth. There was a mighty earthquake. The graves were opened, and those who had died in faith under the third angel's message, keeping the Sabbath, came forth from their dusty beds, glorified, to hear the covenant of peace that God was to make with those who had kept His law. {EW 285.1} "
" It is at midnight that God manifests His power for the deliverance of His people. The sun appears, shining in its strength. Signs and wonders follow in quick succession. The wicked look with terror and amazement upon the scene, while the righteous behold with solemn joy the tokens of their deliverance. Everything in nature seems turned out of its course. The streams cease to flow. Dark, heavy clouds come up, and clash against each other. In the midst of the angry heavens is one clear space of indescribable glory, whence comes the voice of God like the sound of many waters, saying, "It is done." Revelation 16:17. . . . {FLB 182.2}
That voice shakes the heavens and the earth. There is a mighty earthquake, "such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great." Revelation 16:18. . . . The whole earth heaves and swells like the waves of the sea. Its surface is breaking up. Its very foundations seem to be giving way. . . . {FLB 182.3}

The voice of God is heard from heaven, declaring the day and hour of Jesus' coming, and delivering the everlasting covenant to His people. ... And when the blessing is pronounced on those who have honored God by keeping His Sabbath holy, there is a mighty shout of victory. {FLB 182.7} "

None of our opinions will change it one way or the other, Divine mandate has decreed them seeing Jesus return & that return is the Second Coming, all the wicked get raised at the end of the 1000 yrs, no unique resurrection mentioned there, they died the first death in the first century, from Scripture & SOP I believe they die at the Second Coming, the death of special vengeance from Christ Whom they pierced, after seeing Him come in glory and Power as King of Kings.
I don't think we can be sure and know this even the nominal man was a giant to what we are today,
Ge 6:4 ¶ There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. Nu 13:33 And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight. De 2:11 Which also were accounted giants, as the Anakims; but the Moabites call them Emims Jos 12:4 And the coast of Og king of Bashan, which was of the remnant of the giants, that dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei,
The book of Jasher tells of them and other writings so of this can we set a view in "concrete?"
Okay...I'm done here. Believe the lie if you want to. The scriptures you quote speak of both first and 2nd resurrections. And, the special resurrection is ONLY of the ones that died during the 3rd angels message. Bible says that only righteous will come up at the first resurrection.
Daniel 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they [also] which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
Dan 12:2 speaks of many who are resurrected at the Second Coming, and divides them into two groups, and describes the reward of those two separate groups.
Revelation 1:7 Describes the living populace of earth who see Jesus Coming, and divides them into three groups, (A.) the living at the Second Coming who have never been dead, and (B.) those who obviously have been dead for many centuries - the ones in the first century AD physically pierced him,( but in searching found out more about those who pierced him.) (C.) The redeemed unto eternal life
" Chap. 274 - The Special Resurrection of the Unjust
Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. Revelation 1:7. {Mar 282.1}
"They also which pierced him" (Revelation 1:7), those that mocked and derided Christ's dying agonies, and the most violent opposers of His truth and His people, are raised to behold Him in His glory and to see the honor placed upon the loyal and obedient. {Mar 282.2}
[At His trial], Caiaphas, raising his right hand toward heaven, addressed Jesus in the form of a solemn oath: "I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God." . . . {Mar 282.3}
Every ear was bent to listen, and every eye was fixed on His face as He answered, "Thou hast said." A heavenly light seemed to illuminate His pale countenance as He added, "Nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven." {Mar 282.4}
For a moment the divinity of Christ flashed through His guise of humanity. The high priest quailed before the penetrating eyes of the Saviour. . . . For a moment he felt as if standing before the eternal Judge, whose eye, which sees all things, was reading his soul, bringing to light mysteries supposed to be hidden with the dead. {Mar 282.5}
The scene passed from the priest's vision. . . . Rending his robe, . . . he demanded that . . . the prisoner be condemned for blasphemy. "What further need have we of witnesses?" he said; "behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy. What think ye?" And they all condemned Him. {Mar 282.6}
Thus the Jewish leaders made their choice. Their decision was registered in the book which John saw in the hand of Him that sat upon the throne, the book which no man could open. In all its vindictiveness this decision will appear before them in the day when this book is unsealed by the Lion of the tribe of Judah. {Mar 282.7}
When Christ comes the second time, not as a prisoner surrounded by a rabble will they see Him. They will see Him as heaven's King. . . . Then the priests and rulers will remember distinctly the scene in the judgment hall. Every circumstance will appear before them as if written in letters of fire. {Mar 282.8} "

" Will Be Called in Special Resurrection
Words to Husband and Children on the Loss of
Wife and Mother
Dear Brother:
I hardly know what to say to you. The news of your wife's death was to me overwhelming. I could hardly believe it and can hardly believe it now. God gave me a view last Sabbath night which I will write.... {2SM 263.2}
I saw that she was sealed and would come up at the voice of God and stand upon the earth, and would be with the 144,000. I saw we need not mourn for her; she would rest in the time of trouble, and all that we could mourn for was our loss in being deprived of her company. I saw her death would result in good. {2SM 263.3} "

" When Pilate declared himself innocent of the blood of Christ, Caiaphas answered defiantly, "His blood be on us, and on our children." The awful words were taken up by the priests and rulers, and echoed by the crowd in an inhuman roar of voices. The whole multitude answered and said, "His blood be on us, and on our children." {DA 738.4}
The people of Israel had made their choice. Pointing to Jesus they
739
had said, "Not this man, but Barabbas." Barabbas, the robber and murderer, was the representative of Satan. Christ was the representative of God. Christ had been rejected; Barabbas had been chosen. Barabbas they were to have. In making this choice they accepted him who from the beginning was a liar and a murderer. Satan was their leader. As a nation they would act out his dictation. His works they would do. His rule they must endure. That people who chose Barabbas in the place of Christ were to feel the cruelty of Barabbas as long as time should last. {DA 738.5}
Looking upon the smitten Lamb of God, the Jews had cried, "His blood be on us, and on our children." That awful cry ascended to the throne of God. That sentence, pronounced upon themselves, was written in heaven. That prayer was heard. The blood of the Son of God was upon their children and their children's children, a perpetual curse. {DA 739.1}
Terribly was it realized in the destruction of Jerusalem. Terribly has it been manifested in the condition of the Jewish nation for eighteen hundred years,--a branch severed from the vine, a dead, fruitless branch, to be gathered up and burned. From land to land throughout the world, from century to century, dead, dead in trespasses and sins! {DA 739.2}
Terribly will that prayer be fulfilled in the great judgment day. When Christ shall come to the earth again, not as a prisoner surrounded by a rabble will men see Him. They will see Him then as heaven's King. Christ will come in His own glory, in the glory of His Father, and the glory of the holy angels. Ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands of angels, the beautiful and triumphant sons of God, possessing surpassing loveliness and glory, will escort Him on His way. Then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory, and before Him shall be gathered all nations. Then every eye shall see Him, and they also that pierced Him. In the place of a crown of thorns, He will wear a crown of glory,--a crown within a crown. In place of that old purple kingly robe, He will be clothed in raiment of whitest white, "so as no fuller on earth can white them." Mark 9:3. And on His vesture and on His thigh a name will be written, "King of kings, and Lord of lords." Revelation 19:16. Those who mocked and smote Him will be there. The priests and rulers will behold again the scene in the judgment hall. Every circumstance will appear before them, as if written in letters of fire. Then those who prayed, "His blood be on us, and on our children," will receive the answer to their prayer. Then the whole world will know and understand. They will realize who and what they, poor, feeble, finite beings, have been warring against. In awful agony and horror they will cry to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: for the great day of His wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?" Revelation 6:16, 17. {DA 739.3} "
The description of His name on His thigh + mention of great judgment day > is it describing Second Coming, or after 1000 yrs, or both ?

Here is the new thing learned RE "pierced Him"
" Chap. 284 - Judgment at the Second Advent
I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom. 2 Timothy 4:1. {Mar 292.1}
The judgment scene will take place in the presence of all the worlds; for in this judgment the government of God will be vindicated, and His law will stand forth as "holy, and just, and good." Then every case will be decided, and sentence will be passed upon all. Sin will not then appear attractive, but will be seen in all its hideous magnitude. {Mar 292.2}
No human language can portray the scenes of the second coming of the Son of man in the clouds of heaven. He is to come with His own glory, and with the glory of the Father and of the holy angels. He will come clad in the robe of light, which He has worn from the days of eternity. Angels will accompany Him. Ten thousand times ten thousand will escort Him on His way. The sound of the trumpet will be heard, calling the sleeping dead from the grave. The voice of Christ will penetrate the tomb, and pierce the ears of the dead, "and all that are in the graves . . . shall come forth." {Mar 292.3}
"And before him shall be gathered all nations." The very One who died for man is to judge him in the last day: for the Father "hath committed all judgment unto the Son: . . . and hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man." What a day that will be, when those who rejected Christ will look upon Him whom their sins have pierced. {Mar 292.4}
At His second coming, conviction will be brought to every heart. Those who have turned from Him to the trivial things of this earth, seeking selfish interests and worldly honor, will in the day of His coming acknowledge their mistake. These are the ones spoken of by the Revelator as "all kindreds of the earth," who "shall wail because of him." . . . {Mar 292.5}
"And they also which pierced him." These words apply not only to the men who pierced Christ when He hung on the cross of Calvary, but to those who by evil-speaking and wrong-doing are piercing Him today. {Mar 292.6} "
I have simply showed the evidence I used, that by looking at the sum of the weight of KJV & SOP on the subject I have arrived at these conclusions, they will happen how they are divinely decreed to happen, whether I am correct or in error on my assumptions.
