We read that the days of the coming of the Son of Man would be as in the days of Noe. That is a Rough Thought, only eight were saved then, the percentage today the same?
It looks to me according to EGW the number of the Saints when Jesus comes is down to the 144,000, that is aprox. 1 in 52,000 of the worlds population.
We know Jesus will run the harvest to save down to the uttermost. Now would that not be to the last one born who would come to His Salvation?
Are the Saints getting down to that scarce? It looks near so as how many are active on straight testimony forums anymore who will contribute increasing light and it certainly is increasing.
I know this is not a smooth message, but is it smooth things we need in these closing hours?
Yes many are deceived in believing the harvest will at the end be great and is increasing when the opposite is true.
What is the trouble that this is true? It is because that today very, very few are coming to Him and making that full and complete surrender not withholding nothing in the very least.
A false gospel has been preached and soaked up by the people in all the denominational structures now for years.
Isa 30:10 Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: Ro 16:18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

What makes this falling away coming to nil such a tragedy is the fact that today we have more advantages to know the truth than most generations before us.
We have the Bible in great accuracy in our language and nearly all are able to read and understand. Then were is the problem?
For one thing it is false teachers of smooth things to please itching ears for so many yrs. now since Christ. Who then is the master of this? It all comes from the Master of deceivers of who even seduced one third of the angels.
Then along comes man not realizing he is a far easier prey than any angel was to get deluded and so what percentage of men do you suppose Satan is able to get in his grip if Christ is not in Him to be his strength and stay.
Joh 15:5I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Now what does it take to have Christ in us to be our strength and stay? It takes absolute complete full and total surrender of all that we are or He cannot come and dwell within. The soul temple must be cleaned of ALL masters completely or He does not take abode in us!
Yes therein lies our problem. but an extreme few will ever surrender ALL and keep it that way.
The great evil fisherman to lure souls and catch them away has so many allurements in this age that an extreme few will find the Way to break free of them. These things Satan pulls souls with are at every hand and wherever one turns.
No man has a least chance to break free until he comes and falls totally broken on Him and FULLY given in His Hands!

Yes, I believe that there will be only 144,000 saints alive when Jesus returns. The Holy Spirit makes that plain not only thru John, but also thru Ellen White. Many people tell me "Oh so few, I'll never make it". But I say: "Oh so many. Where will God ever find that many?"
We also need to keep in mind that there will be many, most likely millions of martyrs before Jesus comes.
It is so true that Satan tried to keep the Bible out of peoples' hands for a long time, but failing in that, he is trying now to make so many false translations of the Bible (there is even a homosexual bible now!) to make us believe the Bible isn't the words of God. I dare say that over 70% of God remnant church would agree with Satan on this subject.
Yes, it is very clear in Rev. and SOP that the 144K are a literal number. In Rev. each group is described in detail...In SOP she sees the memorial sanctuary and written in stone are the names of the 144K. That's pretty clear I would say... And, yes, there will be martyrs before the COP for the world so many of those will bring in even more to replace those that have left the message of truth.
But Many believe that this is a sad message and want to believe something else to make it seem like we are all going to make it...not so. Remember Matthew 7.
For sure, NB we must judge for ourselves only and that we should do being honest with ourselves and not be our own deceiver.
Then the big question of WHO is it that is bringing out the truth and it will be these who will meet the persecution.
Re 11: the first 3 verses will reveal the time of these witnesses and it is fast coming, the house of God is measured up first then the witness starts to those outside,
Re 11:1 ¶ And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. Re 11:2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. Re 11:3 ¶ And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
Then we see no MAN can hurt them,
Re 11:5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
But when their testimony is completed, look who does,
Re 11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
No! to the prophecy of this chapter being the French Revolution, no way on earth!
This to my see is the 144,000 filled with the early and later rain of His Spirit , the two olive trees, -,Re 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. And the two candlesticks are the old and new testaments, the light unto the feet! -,Ps 119:105 ¶ NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Martyrs may not be heavy in this last great call out to the world as His are so few and cannot many be killed until the testimony is finished.
Leastwise, I worry not as for Him I would go and do as He directs as I know His Spirit will drive these, and any way none can take away my eternal life and I am ready to go home! Scattered around this old world will be those driven of His Spirit without any fear.
