In the Adventist Review, an article by Todd McFarland regarding the church's stand on the Hobby Lobby case appeared in August, 2014.  http://www.adventistreview.org/the-adventist-church-and-the-hobby-lobby-decision

The Seventh-day Adventist Church supported Hobby Lobby from the perspecitive that a company should be able to have religious rights.  What is troubling tho, is that an admission is basically made that SDA church member's tithe money is being used to provide these drugs and devices that cause abortions.

How can a church that stands for the 4th commandment break the 6th with nothing less than God's sacred tithe?!

I call on fellow Seventh-day Adventists to ask their leaders to repent of this great sin.  Also, we need to consider carefully about where our tithe money should go, because if we know it is being used to murder babies, and we support it, then we are held accountable.

Dear Jesus, please help all these of your littlest ones, and may they not be aborted, so they can grow up and help spread your Loud Cry message soon, amen.

we were told specifically that it was not...  I even had a head elder investigate it and he said that they said it was not going for the hospitals that do this as those hospitals are privately run

I don't think you watched the video, NB.  This video has nothing to do with tithe money in our hospitals.

then I missed the point...  I thought it was implied that it was being used such but I have been told otherwise...

I'm against abortion and I understand your view and I agree with it.... it is killing.

I'm sorry if I didn't make the point clear in the video blankstare

The article in the Adventist Review states that the SDA church supplies the things to church employees that Hobby Lobby owners are fighting against supplying their employees.  Those things include the drugs "Plan B" and "Ella", both of which basically cause abortions, and also IUDs.
