The video is supposed to show the Creation story, yet:

1. it gives the strong impression that the stars were made before this world

2. it shows the sun on day 1

3. it shows the dry land on day 1

4. it shows dark rain clouds on day 2

5. it shows lightning on day 2

6. it shows snow on day 3

I can't bear to watch any more of it again.

I hope our church doesn't promote this video any further.

The morning stars sang as they watched Earth's creation.  They were there before Earth.  

" The Sabbath was hallowed at the creation. As ordained for man, it had its origin when "the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy." Job 38:7. Peace brooded over the world; for earth was in harmony with heaven. "God saw everything that He had made, and, behold, it was very good;" and He rested in the joy of His completed work. Genesis 1:31.  {DA 281.1}  

     Because He had rested upon the Sabbath, "God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it,"--set it apart to a holy use. He gave it to Adam as a day of rest. It was a memorial of the work of creation, and thus a sign of God's power and His love. The Scripture says, "He hath made His wonderful works to be remembered." "The things that are made," declare "the invisible things of Him since the creation of the world," "even His everlasting power and divinity." Genesis 2:3; Psalm 111:4; Romans 1:20, R. V.  {DA 281.2} "   

"In the beginning the Father and the Son had rested upon the Sabbath after Their work of creation. When "the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them" (Genesis 2:1), the Creator and all heavenly beings rejoiced in contemplation of the glorious scene. "The morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy." Job 38:7. Now Jesus rested from the work of redemption; and though there was grief among those who loved Him on earth, yet there was joy in heaven.  I was shown that the law of God would stand fast forever, and exist in the new earth to all eternity. At the creation, when the foundations of the earth were laid, the sons of God looked with admiration upon the work of the Creator, and all the heavenly host shouted for joy. It was then that the foundation of the Sabbath was laid. At the close of the six days of creation, God rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made; and he blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because that in it he had rested from all his work. The Sabbath was instituted in Eden before the fall, and was observed by Adam and Eve, and all the heavenly host. God rested on the seventh day, and blessed and hallowed it; and I saw that the Sabbath would never be done away; but the redeemed saints, and all the angelic host, will observe it in honor of the great Creator to all eternity.

The unfallen worlds are older than our solar system, or they could not have mourned when the traitor Lucifer became Satan, fought the first war, was cast out, went to the new planet with sentient species - humans - earth.

Adam became a living SOUL, not a living being. Being is too nebulous a term, with no descriptive powers to open understanding to the realities of life, death, prophecy, salvation, judgement, sealing - etc. 

Genesis 2:7  And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

1 Corinthians 15:45  And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

Revelation 16:3  And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.

a living being = ? too nebulous undefined in Scripture .

a living soul = body + mind that functions to the minimum needs of it's species + breath of life . A living soul is dependent upon God for it's existence and continuance.

Adam & Eve were not naked till AFTER sin .  They were created wearing robes of climate controlling, multi sensory light that was an extension of their senses.  They became naked when the light vanished.  Tiny non useful levels seem to remain that science can detect.

Eve was result of first surgery on Adam, with strongly symbolic lessons, but popping into being without that representation loses those significant lessons and opens the door to controversy over divine roles of equality vs headship in the pre-post sin gender roles.

No wedding happened - humanity relationships portrayed no different than animal kingdom.  No marriage = no 7th Commandment & accountability, no laws limiting divorce, etc.

"It is Satan's plan to weaken the faith of God's people in the Testimonies. Satan knows how to make his attacks. He works upon minds to excite jealousy and dissatisfaction toward those at the head of the work. {CCh 93.5} 

The gifts are next questioned; then, of course, they have but little weight, and instruction given through vision is disregarded. Next follows skepticism in regard to the vital points of our faith, the pillars of our position, then doubt as to the Holy Scriptures, and then the downward march to perdition. It is not alone those who openly reject the Testimonies, or who cherish doubt concerning them, that are on dangerous ground. To disregard light is to reject it. {CCh 94.2} 

If you lose confidence in the Testimonies you will drift away from Bible truth. I have been fearful that many would take a questioning, doubting position, and in my distress for your souls I would warn you. How many will heed the warning? 121 {CCh 94.3} 

I agree Ed, but at the top echelon of Adventism that has the resources

and ability to get it front of their peoples and others, I don't think it is going to happen from them.

I find the trouble is at the top and that is where Satan has gone and do you see any chance of turnaround?  I see that books of a new order have been written and pushed, the ABC here has quit too, can't sell enough of their stuff to keep going.

I do not, it is disgusting to go to the 3 nearest SDA churches here and hear the message.  I do not go anymore and a great many here don't.

I do my worship here from home in Spirit and in Truth.  I will not imbibe what is being brought forth from the pulpits anymore.

EGW describes what our church must be and at that time the SDA's were,

"God has a church. It is not the great cathedral, neither is it the national establishment, neither is it the various denominations; it is the people who love God and keep His commandments. "Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them" (Matthew 18:20). Where Christ is even among the humble few, this is Christ's church, for the presence of the High and Holy One who inhabiteth eternity can alone constitute a church.  {UL 315.5} 

     Where two or three are present who love and obey the commandments of God, Jesus there presides, let it be in the desolate place of the earth, in the wilderness, in the city enclosed in prison walls. The glory of God has penetrated the prison walls, flooding with glorious beams of heavenly light the darkest dungeon. His saints may suffer, but their sufferings will, like the apostles of old, spread their faith and win souls to Christ and glorify His holy name. The bitterest opposition expressed by those who hate God's great moral standard of righteousness should not and will not shake the steadfast soul who trusts fully in God. . . .  {UL 315.6} 

     They that will be doers of the word are building securely, and the tempest and storm of persecution will not shake their foundation, because their souls are rooted to the eternal Rock.--Letter 108, Oct. 28, 1886, to her older sister and her husband who had not accepted the Sabbath truth.  {UL 315.7} 

We had such a Church for many years here and 3 to 4 of us spoke most of the time, for awhile membership reached around 60 and many were old and some came as high as 70 miles to attend.  Then many had to leave to other states and then the building we rented became so expensive we finally had to disband.  I am still in contact with some and all were truly SDA's.  Generic, not corporate.
