My brother is scheduled to undergo spine surgery on February 10th and 14th.  He's going to get it done at the Bonati Institute in Hudson, Florida.  http://www.bonati.com/

Psalms 41:1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. Blessed [is] he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. 2 The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; [and] he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies. 3 The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.

A couple of weeks ago my brother said he was back home after going to the surgery center in Florida.  He said he only had 25% use of his right arm, and that his left arm, which was fine before, was starting to bother him a little bit, so he is worried that he will eventually lose the use of both his arms.

While being in a depressing situation, he is looking to Jesus, and quoted some of Job where, altho he curses the day he was born, he will still trust in his Redeemer "tho he slay me".
