p. 681 T. vol 5 The volumes of Spirit of Prophecy, and also the Testimonies, should be introduced into every Sabbathkeeping family, and the brethren should know their value and be urged to read them. It was not the wisest plan to place these books at a low figure and have only one set in a church.
There are 37 volumes of the Testimonies for the Church.
Recently I updated the Wikipedia article for the Bibliography of Ellen White's books. I saw where the people before me had used one web page on the E.G. White Estate site that downplays the early works, and promotes more the later works. I used a different page on the same E.G. White Estate site (that I originally found on the Loma Linda EGW Bibliography collection years ago), to give more prominence to the earlier material.
The Testimonies were very pointed at times, encouraging at times, instructive at times, and devotional at times. They are very interesting, and I have personally spent months scanning them in and putting them up on the net.
