I was deeply moved by the inauguration ceremony, as repeatedly they called on the name of God, and they quoted Scripture. Yes, of course I understand that quoting Scripture or even praying to God does not necessarily mean you will follow what God says to do, but the fact that a large nation on earth still admits of a higher power - and that higher power is Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is amazing to see in this day and age!
While I agreed with everything Br. Wohlberg said regarding how the U.S. will one day make a Sunday Law, I was disappointed that he did not touch on the most immediate issue of the day - abortion. President Trump specifically referred to abortion right at the end of his speech, when he mentioned about the Creator:s *Breath of life*. That statement made me extremely happy and hopeful that finally the slaughter of literally thousands of devloping humans every day may finally come to an end.
May we pray for the new administration, that they will actually carry out justice and righeousness as written in the Bible, and that God will bless them for their efforts to right decades of wrongs.
I watched the Inauguration and was impressed by it, even though I'm aware of various prophetic angles and portents.
One thing that I've been mulling over and praying about is whether the Lord has stepped in to chastise a particular group, and whether this has been done in part to buy some time for the United States, and in part simply to demonstrate the Lord's hatred of confederacies and entrenched evil.
It's interesting to note that the SOP specifically links progressive ideology with spiritualism, and two such quotes are below.
"Vain philosophy." The members of the body are controlled by the head. Spiritualists lay aside the Head, and every member of the body they believe must act themselves, and fixed laws will lead them on in a state of progression to perfection without a head. John 15:1-6. "I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away; and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine, no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches; he that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned." {4bSG 90.3}

Spiritualism teaches "that man is the creature of progression; that it is his destiny from his birth to progress, even to eternity, toward the Godhead." And again: "Each mind will judge itself and not another." "The judgment will be right, because it is the judgment of self ... The throne is within you." Said a spiritualistic teacher, as the "spiritual consciousness" awoke within him: "My fellow men, all were unfallen demigods." And another declares: "Any just and perfect being is Christ." {GC 554.1}
With Gorsuch as the Supreme Court nominee, this administration seems serious on really helping developing humans get a chance to live.
So happy for them!
Let:s pray that this administration will continue to work for righteous causes, and that they will not be disheartened by the unlawfulness being done to overturn this work.
