I don't think Ben Carson is running for President of the United States out of a good heart, as he has publicly identified himself as not a Seventh-day Adventist, but his campaign has put a spotlight on what Seventh-day Adventists believe in a high-profile way that they may not have been otherwise. I think this is a very good outcome of his campaign, even if he does not profess to be SDA anymore.
