To Know Him Is To Love Him!

We must come to know Him and who and what He is! In Short above ALL He is LOVE!

When we dont really Love Him who is Love we cannot and will not keep His Commandments, the law of Love!

He is Love and Good above all and He not only gave to us His one and only begotten Son but He gave of Himself! Not many realize just how He did that.

It is simple and easy to see that He extended, divided Himself to become also LORD, Yahweh of Hosts. He, Yahweh King of Israel did this in the very beginning.

Yahweh of Hosts tells us, - - Pr 8:22 ¶ The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.
Pr 8:23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.

Isa 44:6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. (notice I above and not we.)

Yes it was Yahweh of Hosts who did the creation and the Hosts, so His name, the pre Bethlehem Christ.

Then in the fullness of time the union, incarnation was done in Marys womb and Jesus was born with the fullness of the Father in Him.

Ga 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Isa 9:7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Now we need to realize that the Father suffered all as acutely as Christ did that men and Satan heaped upon Him, it you see was heaped upon the Father the same as Christ.

Joh 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

2Co 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

So I ask how cannot we love Him who has shown us as solidly as it can be shown that He is Love above all and Truly gave all that Heaven could bestow that we might be redeemed. Truly, Truly He gave of Himself!

To know Him is to know Love and to Love Him we love to keep His commandments, the law of love and this is eternal life to all that do!

1Jo 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
1Jo 2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

All true obedience comes from the heart. It was heart work with Christ. And if we consent, He will so identify Himself with our thoughts and aims, so blend our hearts and minds into conformity to His will, that when obeying Him we shall be but carrying out our own impulses. The will, refined and sanctified, will find its highest delight in doing His service. When we know God as it is our privilege to know Him, our life will be a life of continual obedience. Through an appreciation of the character of Christ, through communion with God, sin will become hateful to us. {DA 668.3} 

None need lose eternal life. Everyone who chooses daily to learn of the heavenly Teacher will make his calling and election sure. Let us humble our hearts before God and follow on to know Him whom to know aright is life eternal. {HP 29.3} 

Knowing this how can it be that Love be not instilled in us? Love in you and me is Christ in us, the one and only hope of Glory! Knowing this, we have given all that we are into His hands, not a whit withheld that He can!
