Yes, the "big one" will hit the world financially one day.  Most likely it will happen when the fireballs come from God, but might happen before that time.  People will finally see that everything in the current economical system is built on sand.  They will struggle to put business on a more secure foundation, but it won't work because the foundation of the system (fiat money) is not true money.

Some of the comments to the article are very good - If you're concerned about the financial situation of the world, get out of debt, get an education in something practical like farming or fixing engines or electrical applicances, buy some land out in the country, have a little gold and silver, and store your own food like our ancestors did.  Notice that I am NOT advocating stocking up for the Time of Trouble!  From a Christian perspective, we need to break loose from all encumbrances, be supplying the needs of God's workers now while our money has some value, and lay everything on the altar so that when God does need it, we can be happy to let it go   If we don't, it will come up like a mountain in the Time of Trouble and crush us.
