Christian woman sentenced to death in Sudan
Permalink

This is a email I got from American Center for Law and Justice which supports Christians on trial for their faith in various locations around the globe.  This story can be confirmed by looking at many news outlets.  If something is not done, not only the woman herself, but also her son will receive either capital punishment, or else conversion to Islam.  Let's do our part to help those in chains, and do unto others as we would want them to do unto us.

---------------------

An American boy - a toddler - suffers in prison as his mother is shackled to her cell on death row. This 20-month-old boy - a U.S. citizen - is sick from the prison conditions.

Last week, Meriam Ibrahim, a pregnant Christian woman, was sentenced to hang in Sudan for her faith.

After she has her baby, who will be a U.S. citizen, she will be tortured - beaten with 100 lashes for marrying an American Christian. Then she will be hung for being a Christian.

If we do nothing, she will die. Her American kids will be turned over to radical Islamists.

At the ACLJ, we're fully engaged at the U.N., in Washington, and across the globe for their freedom.

In 24 hours, 100,000 signed our petition to free Meriam and her American son. Pressure and prayer are the only things that will keep her alive. Be heard.

For me and many other Christians this means the deadly wound is now healed.

Here is the scripture to consider,

Re 13:1 ¶ And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

Re 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
Re 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
Re 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

 I will offer a little explanation and you can choose as you wish.

First note the first beast of Re 13:1 has SEVEN HEADS, then note, verse 3 that but ONE head is wounded to death.

I submit that the Papacy is the ONE head.

Now note in verse three the whole world wonders after the beast and NOT THE ONE HEAD that was wounded.  Then we note in verse 4 that THEY WORSHIPPED THE DRAGON which gives power to the beast, and now the big one,

Verse Re 13:5. and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

Now, we know before the deadly wound was inflicted Martyrdom was done without recompense and so now we see Martyrdom is now being done AGAIN without recompense.

We have come to the place the deadly wound is healed and now and the beast is given but 42 months of literal time to continue it looks like to me. as Re 13:5 above states.

Verses Re 13:1-10 are of this WORLD beast system (Re 13:3, and all the world wondered after the beast.) of which the Papacy is but ONE head and now we must make clear who is the beast of Re 13:11-18, and EGW will make this one clear without my input.

She quotes Re 13:13-17 exactly and after I post her quote I will post verses 11-18 of Re 13: for you to see you can't break verses 11 and 18 from the others.  EGW speaks,

"In Revelation we read concerning Satan: (13)"And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, (14)and deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; (15)saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.(16) And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. (17)And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name" (Revelation 13:13-17). . . .  {3SM 393.1}

     "And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame" (chap. 16:13-15). . . .  {3SM 393.2}

Re 13:11 ¶ And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
Re 13:12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
Re 13:13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
Re 13:14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
Re 13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
Re 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
Re 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Re 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

I will offer more explanation if any have trouble seeing what is being presented

1Jo 4:5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.

We must know though Martyrdom of true Christians is going to be done on an increasing scale and not much brakes from most governments.

Many of us will suffer the same I do believe,

"It was through one who declared himself to be a "brother, and companion in tribulation" (Revelation 1:9), that Christ revealed to His church the things that they must suffer for His sake. Looking down through long centuries of darkness and superstition, the aged exile saw multitudes suffering martyrdom because of their love for the truth. But he saw also that He who sustained His early witnesses would not forsake His faithful followers during the centuries of persecution that they must pass through before the close of time. "Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer," the Lord declared; "behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation: . . . be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life." Revelation 2:10.  {AA 588.1}

Shall we stutter for lack of faith to boldly declare Jesus Christ and the Truth as it is in Him?

1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Are we the world's policeman as this article says ?

http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2014/05/23/american-must-extract-meriam-ibrahim-from-sudan/

Revelation 2:10  Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

Matthew 10:22  And ye shall be hated of all men for my names sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

Mark 13:13  And ye shall be hated of all men for my names sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Luke 21:17  And ye shall be hated of all men for my names sake.

Isaiah 49:25  But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.

James 1:12  Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

May she and her children sleep in Jesus beyond the power of Satan, awaiting the first resurrection of life, beyond the clutches of evil, to awaken together at the trumpet of God and the call of Jesus, to live with Him in a safe new world eternally and her faith unto the end, convert very large numbers of muslim women and their families as they discuss these things in private.

SDA shortwave messages pour it on stronger, the louder the dragon roars in each land, pour it on louder, longer, with greater clarity and purity, let no media be empty airwaves.

************************

"In vain were Satans efforts to destroy the church of Christ by violence. The great controversy in which the disciples of Jesus yielded up their lives did not cease when these faithful standard-bearers fell at their post. By defeat they conquered. Gods workmen were slain, but His work went steadily forward. The gospel continued to spread, and the number of its adherents to increase. . . . Said a Christian, expostulating with the heathen rulers who were urging forward the persecution: You may torment, afflict, and vex us. Your wickedness puts our weakness to the test, but your cruelty is of no avail. It is but a stronger invitation to bring others to our persuasion. The more we are mowed down, the more we spring up again. The blood of the Christians is seed. {CTr 319.5}

Thousands were imprisoned and slain; but others sprang up to fill their places. And those who were martyred for their faith were secured to Christ, and accounted of Him as conquerors. They had fought the good fight, and they were to receive the crown of glory when Christ should come. The sufferings that they endured brought Christians nearer to one another and to their Redeemer.The Spirit of Prophecy, vol. 4, pp. 39-42.   {GC88 41.3}

     Thousands were imprisoned and slain; but others sprung up to fill their places. And those who were martyred for their faith were secured to Christ, and accounted of him as conquerors. They had fought the good fight, and they were to receive the crown of glory when Christ should come. The sufferings which they endured brought Christians nearer to one another and to their Redeemer. Their living example and dying testimony were a constant witness for the truth; and, where least expected, the subjects of Satan were leaving his service, and enlisting under the banner of Christ.  {GC88 42.1}

     Satan therefore laid his plans to war more successfully against the government of God, by planting his banner in the Christian church. If the followers of Christ could be deceived, and led to displease God, then their strength, fortitude, and firmness would fail, and they would fall an easy prey.  {GC88 42.2}

     The great adversary now endeavored to gain by artifice what he had failed to secure by force. Persecution ceased, and in its stead were substituted the dangerous allurements of temporal prosperity and worldly honor. Idolaters were led to receive a part of the Christian faith, while they rejected other essential truths. They professed to accept Jesus as the Son of God, and to believe in his death and resurrection; but they had no conviction of sin, and felt no need of repentance or of a change of heart. With some concessions on their part, they proposed that Christians should make concessions, that all might unite on the platform of belief in Christ.  {GC88 42.3}

     Now the church was in fearful peril. Prison, torture, fire, and sword were blessings in comparison with this. Some of the Christians stood firm, declaring that they could make no compromise. Others were in favor of yielding or modifying some features of their faith, and uniting with those who had accepted a part of Christianity, urging that this might be the means of their full conversion. That was a time of deep anguish to the faithful followers of Christ. Under a cloak of pretended Christianity, Satan was insinuating himself into the church, to corrupt their faith, and turn their minds from the Word of truth.  {GC88 42.4} "

***************************

 " Said a Christian, expostulating with the heathen rulers who were urging forward the persecution: You may "kill us, torture us, condemn us. . . . Your injustice is the proof that we are innocent

. . . . Nor does your cruelty . . . avail you." It was but a stronger invitation to bring others to their persuasion. "The oftener we are mown down by you, the more in number we grow; the blood of Christians is seed."--Tertullian, Apology, paragraph 50.  {GC 41.3}    "

testing video....

Ed, just click on the "Youtube" button, and when you see a little screen come up, just paste the url for the youtube video you want.

This one i did this test on is:

http://youtu.be/-EsW_uvnSao

and it tells in color what led Japan to do WWII.  This video gives me chills when i see the Japanese working closely with the Nazis, but it isn't surprising as Shinto is a false religion that fights against Jesus Christ.

I sure hope that the American government will get busy trying to protect its citizens around the world, even if they are Christians.  This woman in Sudan deserves help.

Hope this method works for you smile

Set Free!

http://www.cbn.com/cbnnews/world/2014/June/Sudan-Mom-Sentenced-to-Die-for-Faith-Set-Free/

The Sudanese mother condemned to die for refusing to renounce her Christian faith has been set free, according to her attorney.

Meriam Ibrahim's release came after her sentence was overturned by an appellate court.

Her husband was born in South Sudan before it gained it's independence from Sudan and has dual citzenship with the United States. He was living in the United States but visited Sudan in 2011, met Meriam and married her there.

Meanwhile, Ibrahim's lawyer, Elshareef Ali, said her husband is elated over his wife's release.

"We are very, very happy about this - and we're going to her now," Ali told the BBC. "They have released her... she's on her way to home."

Meriam Ibrahim Still Troubled Over Future

Meriam Ibrahim, the Sudanese woman who was released on Monday this week only to be re-arrested later in Khartoum for travelling to the U.S., is troubled over the future her family has in store. Ibrahim, who gave birth on death row and still is in the U.S. Embassy in Sudan, is now worried about the future of her baby girl, who seems to have developed physical challenges, possibly attributed to the crude manner she was birthed in the jail.

Ibrahim, who breathed a sigh of relief upon her release after being arrested two months ago, was back in jail on charges of forgery and falsifying travel documents. While the family is safely housed in the embassy in Khartoum, a phone interview with CNN, revealed how bad the entire ordeal for a pregnant Ibrahim was, as she voiced concerns over her troubled future.

Ibrahim, who was pregnant at the time of the initial arrest was worried about giving birth in jail. She claimed that the authorities at the jail refused access to a hospital, and as she was scared of giving birth in prison, this gave her fair reason to be alarmed. She gave birth in chains rather than handcuffs. This forced Ibrahim to give birth in a very constricted manner with her legs close together. The women had to lift her off the table and thus she was unable to fully lie down to at least lessen the pangs of child-birth. Doctors who examined the baby feared that the circumstances the baby was born in might result in serious physical challenges as she grows.

Ibrahim, whose one-month old baby girl Maya was born in prison, is unsure if her daughter will need support in the future to walk. Ibrahim is married to physically challenged Daniel Wani who has a 21-month old son, Martin. Wani says that baby Maya in safe place now, but it is definitely not comfortable. Ibrahims trips to the court have not ceased after her release, since charges of falsifying documents have now been leveled against her, causing an unnecessary delay in flying the family safely to the U.S.

Ibrahim, who gave birth two weeks after her arrest on charges of apostasy and adultery, became the victim of harassment when her Muslim relatives filed the charges leading to her arrest. The relatives were shocked to find that the missing Ibrahim had married a Christian, while she maintained that she was Christian all her life, refusing to denounce her faith even in court. She recalled that while in jail, Islamic priests and sheiks would try to convince her to convert to Islam, while the women at the prison taunted her with anti-Christian sentiments. The police who joined in with the women regularly in taunting Ibrahim, called her a non-believer and a Christian, as if it were an insult, even refusing to share the food with her.

Ibrahim, troubled over the prospects of her safety, is still as helpless as she was in prison. In spite of many people offering help, with legal representatives, humanitarian workers and politicians regularly visiting her in prison, she says help never really came. Sudanese authorities who have arrested Ibrahim on charges of false paperwork, say she holds South Sudanese papers, (although she is not a Sudanese citizen), and was trying to travel to the U.S., where her husband holds joint citizenship. The National Intelligence and Security Services who investigated the matter charged her with forgery and falsifying information, while Ibrahim is adamant that she is entitled to the travel documents in her possession. Calling it a  tip-off by travel agents, Ibrahim says that the papers were approved by South Sudan and American ambassadors and therefore simply cannot be false. While Ibrahim, has been given an American visa, she is entitled to use the papers issued by South Sudan, since her husband Wani is both Sudanese and American. Legal counsel for Ibrahim has requested the district attorney to drop the charges and ensure a safe flight from Sudan.

At the airport, where they hoped the nightmare might finally end, the terror only came back to haunt the family of four. Ibrahim described the way the Sudanese police officers arrested her and wheel-chair bound Wani as terrorizing, as they were taken by surprise in the VIP departures hall. The scared couple was trying to figure out why they were arrested as they were locked in a room for four to five hours. A shocked Ibrahim claimed that the arrests came even before the police investigated the claim leveled against the couple in a court of law. The allegations have now left Ibrahim in a confused state, wondering if she should travel after this legal mess the authorities have landed her in or not.

Meriam Ibrahim, who is troubled by baby Mayas health, her husband Wani and son Martin, is still hopeful that she will leave safely. Despite the harrowing ordeal, she trusts her husband and counts on him to take them to safety. Wani, she says, is responsible for the safety of the kids and herself in the face of future challenges, promising to go wherever he deems safe for the family to get a fresh lease on life.

Ed,

I'm wondering if the deadly wound is not healed of the beast.  We know when it was inflicted that Martyrdom ceased and it seems now as if Martyrdom hasn't began again.

Re 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
Re 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months

When the wound is healed it sure appears as though the beast has but forty two months to continue to make war with the saints,

Re 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Meriam is in the US Embassy in Sudan, as her brother and others are bringing lawsuit after lawsuit trying to annul her marriage, declare her apostate, take away her children, and kill her.

Meriam Ibrahim, the 27-year-old mother of two currently residing in the U.S. embassy in Sudan awaiting a flight to America, will receive a hearing Wednesday in the U.S. examining her situation.

Members of the House Foreign Affairs subcommittee focused on human rights will discuss the human rights abuse perpetrated on Ibrahim, who was sentenced to death for supposedly leaving Islam.

"Meriam Ibrahim Ishag has been imprisoned in Sudan in fear of execution, chained during the late stages of her pregnancy, forced to give birth in prison, released from prison and re-arrested on flimsy charges," said subcommittee Chairman Chris Smith, R-N.J. "This all is the result of her being Christian in a country in which the ruling authorities refuse to recognize the right of people to choose their own religion. Our hearing will examine this troubling violation of a basic human right."

Just got this news - praise God!

Meriam Ibrahim and her American family are now safe and free! Early this morning Italian government officials escorted Meriam and her family from the U.S. embassy out of Sudan and into Italy. Meriam and her young children Martin and Maya have now gone from death row because of her Christian faith to safety and freedom outside Sudan. This is a huge victory for religious liberty. Your voice was heard and Meriam is now free. They are expected to return to the U.S. in the coming days.
