Every chapter in GC has it's own function and progressively builds the total message................................................it is the organized intelligent prophetic work of the Holy Ghost revealing and explaining the past, present, future; and bringing the reader into a believer's understanding entering into abiding in Christ covenant relationship with Christ, observing and learning as the Holy Ghost progressively traces with His finger, the prophetic saga as Christ has walked among humanity and worked for their salvation and redemption from their hearts and minds and progressing outward through their lives.  

Such a saga requires integrated teaching delivered with the fore seeing prophetic eye and Holy Spirit directed explaining at each step of the message................................. committees do not possess such, the great hope ought be followed up with GC it's self and let the testifying of Jesus lead the way, once the reader's attention and interest is attracted to Christ . That's why EGW was an Apostle\Prophet for the time Malachi foretold, not a mere administrative committee member .

Ephesians 4:

11  And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

12  For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

13  Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

14  That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

15  But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

16  From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

17 ¶  This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

18  Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

" Why have I not claimed to be a prophet?--Because in these days many who boldly claim that they are prophets are a reproach to the cause of Christ; and because my work includes much more than the word "prophet" signifies.  {1SM 32.4}  

     When this work was first given me, I begged the Lord to lay the burden on someone else. The work was so large and broad and deep that I feared I could not do it. But by His Holy Spirit the Lord has enabled me to perform the work which He gave me to do.  {1SM 32.5} "
