All these books and writings and articles examining and going into the deepest or most technical discussions of what God has said is not our way as Christians!  No matter WHAT people say about "rock music" or the "intricacies" or technicalities of it, it is NOT what God wants for His people.  I grew up with this music, as heavily involved in it and the drug and alternative cultures, and KNOW it is straight from satan - I have also been involved in the occult and know it is related to those practices.  It is the same spiritualistic power in all!  It certainly also will NOT in any degree be the music of the New Earth, where we are supposed to be going and getting prepared for, NOW.  It all comes down to - are we prepared to sacrifice the things of this world, for eternity with our Lord in the next?  That applies to ALL things in this life.  I'm not saying I'm perfect in what I've so far separated from, but I know when I do put such things away, and mean it, it becomes apparent to me just how seductive and deceptive these things are!  Our walk with Jesus is an escalating, ongoing, and often difficult process, but when it is done, when we cut away from these destructive influences and practices, the blessing of God is worth every bit of that sacrificing!  We must get onto the higher path, brethren, or we will be lost.  Why play with these "toys" that are designed to draw you further into your loss of ETERNITY?  Remember who it is who has the instruments of music in his very being, and be warned.
