James 5:

1 ¶  Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.
2  Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.
3  Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.
4  Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.
5  Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.
6  Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you.
7  Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.
8  Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
9  Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.
10  Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.
11  Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

The records of getting and heaping up wealth, increase the trials, and change God's comissions to His angels that would have protected those folks, but after such selfishness - can not protect them any more.

But all is not a history of gloom........JOB.....ABRAHAM...................JOSEPH............BOAZ............JOSEPH OF AMRETHIA.....NICODEMUS...................rich converted consecrated rulers.     Read Daniel chapter 4, there's the king's conversion story................................ building to faithful people of large resources giving a growing call to the whole Earth.

100 yrs after 33AD ,    133 AD, 233AD, 333 AD,  500 AD, 1000 AD,  2000 AD was that work over  ?   Evidence saying yes or no ......................  would be ...............IS GOD STILL REACHING OUT AND CLEARING HIS HIGHWAY ,  Is GOD still reaching out and bringing sheep not of His fold to Him in ways big enough that it is unmistakibaly the hand of God ?

Dear Friends,

I have been collecting in my head, stories that we have been told by ones that they happened to and I have finally sat down and written several of them down. I hope they are as encouraging to you as they been to us!

We are living in dramatic times! Many of us recently received a picture of the church sign in front of a Catholic Church in the Midwest of the United States that read, The National Sunday Law--Is it Time?

We know that Satan is very active and are not-at least shouldnt be surprised-at all the troubles in our world today. But God is also very-I mean VERY ACTIVE-and you need to know some of the things that are going on that are not well publicized. Time must be getting very short because God is now using extraordinary means to speed up the spread of the Three Angels Messages in our world-particularly in places where missionaries have a hard or dangerous time working!

Most of you have heard of the story that took place in an unnamed country unfriendly to Christian work several years ago. A Seventh-day Adventist pastor was asked to come to a city where Christians were being persecuted and when he arrived at the home found to his amazement that he had been invited to the home of the Muslim Imam or Cleric. He at once became very afraid but knocked on the door and was invited in only to find the Imam and 30 people who asked to be baptized in a secret baptism! The pastor said, Wait! How do I know if you are ready?, and the Imam very seriously and with awe told the pastor that for several months an angel had come each evening and instructed him in the teachings of the Bible. He, in turn, had taught these 30 the truths of scripture. When quizzed by the pastor, indeed, he was very well grounded in all the teachings of the Seventh-day Adventist Church ! The pastor baptized the entire group. But that is not all!

There are people groups all over the world with some in isolated places that are receiving divine instructions in very miraculous ways. A friend of our family, Tim Holbrook, and his family made their way as missionaries into the dense jungle mountain areas of the Philippines only to discover that their arrival had been announced by dreams given to the chiefs of villages and when Pastor Tim started to hold evangelistic meetings more dreams were given telling the elders of several area villages to come to those meetings.

In a country inhabited by a large Hindu population there are now over 30,000 Hindus studying the Adventist message due to divine intervention that has surprised area pastors. Muslims are as well being given dreams of a Man in white who tells them to go to the Seventh-day Adventists for truth about the last days. This man in white is identified as Jesus Himself when they learn the truths of scripture. In a Muslim country a pastor hired a large billboard and put an ad on it to the effect, If you have had a dream of a Man in white please call this number and he received over 100 phone calls from Muslims searching for truth!!

A recently converted Muslim friend was making a visit in a remote village in another country when upon entering the home was met with a man who excitedly told him, You are the man in my dream! I saw you in my dream and you are going to help me find the truth of God! And indeed he did!

Through a series of Providential events a Muslim Sheik in Australia had invited a Seventh-day Adventist layman, a local church elder, to come and share with his congregation what SDAs believe. Before the layman had conducted his first meeting in this mosque, the sheik was given three dreams. And each time he was told by God, Do not try to convert this Seventh-day Adventist. Just listen to him. He has a message for Muslims about the last days. After the first meeting the sheik continued to invite this layman back for a total of five presentations and when he was done the sheik got on the internet and sent a message to his internet flock of over 200,000 Muslim believers that they needed to listen to Seventh-day Adventists because they have a message for us! So places are opening up quickly in places we never thought possible!

Indeed, Muslims are streaming to SDA radio stations in Africa as they learn that there are Christians who really do believe and follow the Bible. In fact, in several cases, Muslims have actually given donations to help keep Adventist programs on the air and even have helped build one of our radio studios! In one anonymous country the entire congregation of a Mosque were converted to Seventh-day Adventist beliefs and now the SDA church in that community meets in the Mosque! It is the most unique Adventist church in the world that was originally built as a Mosque. God is moving in the most amazing ways. One radio station in Uganda reports over 600 baptisms in one year from their programming.

There is another amazing story of a Muslim man who had a dream over 400 years ago and was told to move to another country and one day his offspring would be given new truths. He moved his family and in recent years that clan is now over 1 million people and in recent times, indeed, a member of that family was given a dream and told to make a journey to another city where he would be told what to do. This is extraordinary because the boy is only about 12 years of age when he had the dream and his mother gave him money to make the train trip! Upon arriving at this distant city he waited and waited for someone, anyone, he knew not who, to meet him and with discouragement was about to get back on a homebound train when an elderly couple came up and called him by name. Surprised, he had never seen this couple but they told him that they had seen him in a dream and were told to come and teach him some truths that he needed to know. This was a Seventh-day Adventist missionary couple. They only had a little time but were able to plant a seedbed of truths that this boy took home and continued to study. Now, today, this boy has grown up and died of old age but his children are carrying the Three Angels Messages to their clan. Many of this clan are now Sabbath k
