Walking Continually With Our God

Some see this as a vague concept.  But it is not, it is as real as life itself.  God is a Spirit Jesus has told us and  He too has come back to us in Spirit, the comforter.

Joh 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

He must be worshiped in Spirit because that is how He is with us and what He is. In Truth because that is the only thing acceptable.

If we have learned to hear His voice in us speaking to us then we can walk and talk with Him all the day long.  There is no deceiving Him as He knows all our thoughts and true intentions.  We can speak to him by Spirit and He hears as well as if it is audible sound.

Where do our prayers have to ascend too?  Nowhere, He is here, there is nowhere that He isn't there.

So how hard is it for us to walk as Enoch walked with God?  Well for me, I see that this way.  Since I love Him above all, He first and best it is a pleasure to walk with Him, my truest and best friend.

How then can we go and sin while walking with Him?  We can't and will not as we know what sin is as the law of love is in our hearts.  The law is our love same as His!

Therin is our answer to overcome all sin, Love for Him above all and that every moment of every day being in Him and He in us, walking with Him in Spirit, our spirit and His Spirit entwined.

True Love does no wrong, toward Him or our fellow man.

Pull out and stay away from places and things that pull you away from that walk with Him.  That means one thing for sure, you are not of this world no longer!  You are His and are walking with Him your True love and your wife won't mind!

The heart song continually is praises to Him that He saved a wretch like me!

His Blessings to All.

Gibs.

Yes, God is Spirit and I think of the woman at the well and what Christ told her... in the end times we will worship Him in the true Spirit like never before.

So I have found the third SDA who recognizes that once a person lives 100% in the love God implants, through the love ( Agape, Agapous, Philio, Compassion ) God has already implanted and is adding to as often as more room is made inside to receive it ), that God is leading them away from Satan's world view of life and into His eternal view of life, successfully leaving more and more sin and sinful ideas and attitudes and views behind, as long as they voluntarily stay under God's tutoring, discipline, path He marks out. God never leads into sin, always away from sin.

Agape

<26> , Agapous<25>, Philio (5384 öéëïò philos fee-los) , Divine compassion ( 4697 óðëáã÷íéæïìáé splagchnizomai splangkh-nid-zom-ahee ), thinks no evil, rejoices not <does not desire lust after > in iniquity ( doing wrong when you know it is wrong), rejoices in the truth - is more devoted to doctrine than the staunchest conservative who is mean if crossed but boasts of theological attainments.

First individual I was aware of to discover this, was me in 1992 being brought back to God and seeking these things after an experimentally protracted following Jesus to obtain <25>, <26>, <5384>, <4697>. The second person is Frank Webb. The third seems to be you.

Father God and Teacher/Comforter/Reprover (Holy Spirit) are not encumbered by humanity and be everywhere simultaneously if They wish it and need to, in this way they keep Jesus linked and aware of everything all the time . In ancient times They commanded that all prayers be sent facing Jerusalem, a token of the suppliants loyalty to Their directions, then after it became the "unholy city" and a desolate house, there is still one Jerusalem left to fulfill those directions toward; NEW Jerusalem > Sanctuary > Most Holy Place > God's movable throne / mercy seat / altar > where the prayers become tangable storable commodities that seem to have a continuing function in the plan of salvation.

Revelation 5:8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.

Revelation 8:3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.

Revelation 8:4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angels hand.

When the Third Angel's Message shall go forth with a loud voice, the whole earth shall be lightened with His glory, the Holy Spirit is poured out upon His people. The revenue of glory has been accumulating for this closing work of the Third Angel's Message. The prayers that have been ascending for the fulfillment of the promise, the descent of the Holy Spirit, not one has been lost. Each prayer has been accumulating, ready to overflow and pour forth a healing flood of heavenly influence and accumulated light all over the world. Letter 96a 1899, p. 2. (To Sister Henry, July 19, 1899.) White Estate Washington, D. C. August 30, 1950 {1MR 180.2}

"Our faith and trust is in the Lord. The work is the Lord's. We are His servants to do His will. All seem to be of excellent courage. All seem to feel that all the attributes God has given them must become vocal, to communicate the precious things of truth. The Lord would have His entrusted talents multiplied and returned back to Him to awaken the rejoicing of angels round about the throne of God. Oh, if all only understood their accountability before God, what a revenue of thanksgiving and praise would go forth from human lips, proceeding from the heart of thanksgiving and praise. {21MR 155.2}

When the third angel's message shall go forth with a loud voice and the whole earth shall be lightened with His glory, the Holy Spirit is poured out upon God's people. The revenue of glory has been accumulating for this closing work of the third angel's message. Of the prayers that have been ascending for the fulfillment of the promise--the descent of the Holy Spirit--not one has been lost. Each prayer has been accumulating, ready to overflow and pour forth a healing flood of heavenly influence and accumulated light all over the world. {21MR 155.3}

What will seeking obtaining infilling engrafting  <25>, <26>, <5384 >, <4697>, do for us and in us and through us ?

We need greater faith. We need now to be worked by the Holy Spirit. Believers themselves need to be reconverted and understand what is comprehended in the third angel's message. If we individually understood our privileges and opportunities when we assemble together, each heart would have a living experience, and the Lord Jesus would be in our midst. Thick currents of His love would flow from heart to heart, and the petty, and also larger, difficulties would disappear. Brotherly love would tell its precious story, and there would be no discussion. Heart would blend with heart in a oneness with Christ Jesus, and bound up with Christ in God they [would] see His face by faith. Then the standard of truth is uplifted, the light from heaven is poured over the world. {21MR 155.4}

All who will may come to the securing of the sanctified gift. New victories, under the love and grace of Jesus Christ, are to be added to the domains of the church. The barren places of the earth will become as the garden of the Lord, for the church becomes the region of light and of utility. We want now to be wide-awake to catch every divine ray of light. {21MR 155.5}

The meek shall be as David, and David as an angel of the Lord. Every Christian will see in the face of every other the face of God in benevolence and brotherly love. We need, my sister, greater benevolence, greater humility first, then the simplicity of Christ will appear; contention will cease, because it is an offensive thing and grieves the Holy Spirit of God. No one who truly enjoys the Spirit of Jesus Christ will be fractious, suspicious, criticizing, accusing. Why? Because Christ is abiding in the soul temple. Under the influence of the Holy Spirit, the whole multitude of them that believed were of "one heart and of one mind." The Spirit of Christ animated the whole and became the whole heart of the whole community. Every pulse beat in concert. {21MR 155.6}

One subject of emulation swallowed up every other. Who should approach nearest the likeness of Christ? Which should do most to glorify God? The Spirit of life and light and sanctification and holiness pervaded every mind. Heart beat in unison with heart. Praise and thanksgiving were ascending upward to God. This is the fruit borne on the Christian tree. May the Lord help His people now at this present time to be the light of the world. The world needs the light of Christian example. The church is too much, altogether too much, like the world; therefore the light is not reflected from them to the world. {21MR 156.1}

Looking up the Bible's words for love - The Bible uses it's words to explain their meaning better than contemporary translators.

" Christ's favorite theme was the paternal tenderness and abundant grace of God; He dwelt much upon the holiness of His character and His law; He presented Himself to the people as the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Let these be the themes of Christ's ministers. Present the truth as it is in Jesus. Make plain the requirements of the law and the gospel. Tell the people of Christ's life of self-denial and sacrifice; of His humiliation and death; of His resurrection and ascension; of His intercession for them in the courts of God; of His promise, "I will come again, and receive you unto Myself." John 14:3. {COL 40.2}
Instead of discussing erroneous theories, or seeking to combat the opponents of the gospel, follow the example of Christ. Let fresh truths from God's treasure house flash into life. "Preach the word." "Sow beside all waters." "Be instant in season, out of season." "He that hath My word, let him speak My word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the Lord." "Every word of God is pure. . . . Add thou not unto His words, lest He reprove thee, and thou be found a liar." 2 Timothy 4:2; Isaiah 32:20; Jeremiah 23:28; Proverbs 30:5, 6. {COL 40.3} "

***********************

" Christ's most favorite theme was the paternal character and abundant love of God. The curse of every church today is that men do not adopt Christ's methods. They think that they can improve on the rules given in the gospel, and so are free to define them, hoping thus to reform the churches and the workmen. Let God be our one Master, our one Lord, full of goodness, compassion, and love. {GCB, February 25, 1895 par. 17}

God gives knowledge to his workmen, and he has left on record for us the rich, full promise: "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering: for he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord." Is it not best to obtain wisdom individually by going to God, and not to man? What saith the great Teacher?-- "I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world." {GCB, February 25, 1895 par. 18} "

*********************

" John's favorite theme was the infinite love of Christ. No man stood higher before the believers in his day, and before men of all classes, than did John. He believed in God as a child believes in a kind and tender father. He understood the character and work of Jesus; and when he saw his Jewish brethren groping their way without a ray of the Sun of Righteousness to illuminate their path, he longed to present to them Christ, the Light of the world. {RH, February 22, 1881 par. 5}

The faithful apostle saw that their blindness, their pride, superstition, and ignorance of the Scriptures, were riveting upon their souls fetters which would never be broken. The prejudice and hatred against Christ which they obstinately cherished, was bringing ruin upon them as a nation, and destroying their hopes of everlasting life. But John continued to present Christ to them as the only way of salvation. The evidence that Jesus of Nazareth was the Messiah was so clear, that John declares no man need to walk in the darkness of error while such a light is proffered him. {RH, February 22, 1881 par. 6} "

**************************

" June 6, 1893 The New Zealand Camp-Meeting By Mrs. E. G. White. Sunday evening I spoke on my favorite theme, "The Love of God," to an attentive audience in the Theater Royal. {RH, June 6, 1893 par. 6} "

" John believed in God as a child believes in a kind and tender father. His great love expressed in giving his Son to die for a lost race seemed to the apostle too great for language to express, a mystery which finite minds might not fathom. "Behold," he exclaims, "what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God." He was lost in amazement that the plan of salvation, devised at such a cost to Heaven, should be refused by those for whom so great a sacrifice had been made. His favorite theme was the infinite love of Christ. When speaking on this subject, he forgot self; and the love and trust that pervaded his own heart gave a thrilling power to his words. {ST, January 29, 1885 par. 4}

He had a keen sense of the love that should exist among Christian brethren; and he urged this love upon his children in the faith as an essential characteristic of the followers of Christ. While the heart is destitute of Christian charity, all pretensions to the Christian name are vain. "He that loveth not his brother, whom he hath seen, how can he love God, whom he hath not seen?" {ST, January 29, 1885 par. 5}

The apostle was a teacher of practical holiness, giving, in his sermons and writings, unerring rules for the conduct of Christians. He declared in unmistakable terms that to be a Christian is to be Christlike. It is to be pure in heart and correct in morals; in no case should one rest satisfied with an empty profession. His own life was an illustration of his teaching, both in practical holiness and in love to God and man. It was his one great aim to conform to the will of God. He followed his Saviour so closely, and had such a sense of his purity and exalted holiness, that in contrast, his own character appeared exceedingly defective, and his humility was deep and genuine. {ST, January 29, 1885 par. 6}

Although exposed to persecution and peril, and meeting many hindrances in his work, John was spared to the church for many years. Evil men, instigated by Satan, plotted to cut short the useful life of this man of God; but holy angels protected him from their malice. The church needed his testimony, and he was permitted to stand as a witness for Christ. {ST, January 29, 1885 par. 7} "

*************************

These quotes were posted to show that pursuing the understanding and obtaining of as much of the Love that is dwelling in God and is implanted engrafted by Him upon conditions, into the believer, that those believers may stand upon the shoulders of giants, and be held in the arms of God as a toddler with it's arms of faith around His neck as He walks through His eternal kingdom showing them things they had never dreamed of before. I wish all would join that embrace of Father God & Christ and the Holy Ghost.

Thanks Ed for all the work putting together such a revealing teaching.  All must continue to be students and dig deeper and deeper in the mine of truth.  Too many are resting on the "lees"and falling back and don't know it.

We don't stand still in our walk and many are satisfied they have it all when there is always more and always will be.

"The gospel is not properly taught by ministers who have ceased to be students.--Some of our ministers have a runway of discourses which they use without variation year after year. The same illustrations, the same figures, and almost the same words. They have ceased to be students. There is an end to improvement, and they stagger under the load of a few set discourses to prevent mental decrepitude.

But by the ever-learning student new light, new ideas, new gems of truth will be found and eagerly grasped. . . . The gospel is not properly taught and represented before unbelievers by men who have ceased to be students, who have, as it were, graduated as far as searching the Scriptures is concerned, and they bring a reproach upon the truth by the manner in which they handle it.--VSS 323. {PaM 48.1}

"If it were possible for created beings to attain to a full understanding of God and His works, then, having reached this point, there would be for them no further discovery of truth, no growth in knowledge, no further development of mind or heart. God would no longer be supreme; and men, having reached the limit of knowledge and attainment, would cease to advance. Let us thank God that it is not so. God is infinite; in Him are "all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." And to all eternity men may be ever searching, ever learning, and yet they can never exhaust the treasures of His wisdom, His goodness, and His power. {CCh 88.2}

Without the guidance of the Holy Spirit we shall be continually liable to wrest the Scriptures or to misinterpret them. There is much reading of the Bible that is without profit and in many cases is a positive injury. When the word of God is opened without reverence and without prayer; when the thoughts and affections are not fixed upon God or in harmony with His will, the mind is clouded with doubt; and in the very study of the Bible, skepticism strengthens. The enemy takes control of the thoughts, and he suggests interpretations that are not correct." 109 {CCh 88.3}

1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

There is a topic thread where I tell about what I learned about going to God to obtain His implanted love, in Theodore AL in 1992.      It is out lined in the topic thread,  How should I seek to obtain what Jesus prayed for me to have the right & ability to get from John Ch 17:26

First identify something

Second learn how it is supposed to be put to use - what God intends to do with it in you and through you

Third - How to put it to use that makes God proud of you

Ezra 7:10  For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments.

Nehemiah 8: 8  So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.
