I was blessed after the years of confusion concerning why the General Conference of SDA in 1888 rejected the "Righteousness Of Faith" message by Jones and Waggoner". For years I prayed to God concerning the SDA denomination because I am a 4th generation SDA member. My Family has been since the 1880's. Something has been wrong with this denomination, so in 2006 I removed my membership after discovering it was a legal Business Corporation under the IRS 501(c)(3) Dept. Of The Treasury. And also incorporated with the various states, which violates the 1st commandment, and others. The number 501 comes from the last part of the Pope's official title called DEI. D=500 E=0 and I=1, meaning GOD! The Lord God Almighty revealed this to me last year 2009, and I shared it with other independent SDA ministries. In March 2010 he blessed me to discovered the January 18, 1886 documents in the Secretary of States Office for Michigan. They had been there for about 124 years. These papers show where William C. White( Sister White's own son), Uriah Smith and others placed the denomination into official apostasy. In January 18, 1886 sister Ellen G. White was over in Europe at the moment. They church went from "Remnant to Apostate" with the incorporation of the denomination into the government, these papers speak for themselves. So after the 2010 GCSDA in Atlanta , Georgia I emailed the papers to other Adventist.  As a SDA member I am a christian foremost, and SDA secondary.  I am studied in 11 areas four of them are law like: Biblical Law, American Civil Law, Business Law, and Ecclesiatical Canon Law(non Roman Catholic)and some Constitutional Law. These papers are a must see, and read! So email me if you want a copy of these papers. At gabrielarchangel@ymail.com   Pastor Will

My dear Pastor,

Let me start by saying, take of your shoes for where you are standing is Holy ground.  I mean this in the most respectful way.  William C. White and Uriah Smith are not or were not inspired by God and therefore they have no authority to place God's church in apostacy.  Now, there are individuals in the church who are in apostacy, but not God's church.  Take a look at this quote from Sister White herself...

"The Lord has not given you a message to call the Seventh-Day Adventists Babylon, and to call the people of God to come out of her.  All the reasons you may present cannot have weight with me on this subject, because the Lord has given me decided light that is opposed to such a message." 2SM p.64

To state that God's church is in apostasy is to state that it is Babylon.  I pray that you prayfully reconsider the information you put across regarding God's church.

While you pray, I too will pray that we stay forcus on presenting the truths the Lord has given us to a dying world.

Maranatha,

Defending Our Faith

It pains me to see many of the "reformers", who "sigh and cry" for all the abominations in the Seventh-day Adventist church, blow off this church as "Babylon".  No, God raised up this church in 1844, and he has not spued it out yet.

One interesting common thread with these naysayers, is that they seem to delight in pointing out the sins in the church.  How does that correlate with the description in Ezekiel 9 of "sighing and crying"?  Another common point, is that most people who say the SDA church has apostatized, is that they are very proud to declare that.  How does that compare with Jesus?  Yes, he clearly showed the disciples that the Jewish leaders were not to be followed when they were against the truth, but i don't see him gleefully sighing and crying over their sins.

So these naysayers turn out to actually be useful agents of Satan.  Just this week, my pastor expressed his sorrow at how my comment on the Adventist News website regarding the compromises in the SDA church in Japan is being used by one of these "gleefully attack SDA church" people.  So my witness to the sins in the church is made to be nothing in my pastor's mind, because of its misuse by one of these mistaken "reformers".

That's sad...  yes, some will like pointing the finger.

Maybe it makes them feel better or above the rest?

We need to be careful...what we say and do for principalities are watching too.

John 10:27  My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28  And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29  My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Fathers hand.
30  I and my Father are one.

John 10:16  And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

Sounds like a stronger grip than U Smith or W White together can break.

Has revelation chapter 10: ceased to be true ? Have the people of that revealed prophetic movement vanished ?  Was God too weak to preserve them ?

Is the "faith of Jesus" just a myth ?

Hebrews  7:25  Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

When I stated before my brethren that I had heard for the first time the views of Elder E. J. Waggoner, some did not believe me. I stated that I had heard precious truths uttered that I could respond to with all my heart, for had not these great and glorious truths, the righteousness of Christ and the entire sacrifice made in behalf of man, been imprinted indelibly on my mind by the Spirit of God? Has not this subject been presented in the testimonies again and again? When the Lord had given to my brethren the burden to proclaim this message I felt inexpressibly grateful to God, for I knew it was the message for this time.  {1888 217.2}
     The third angel's message is the proclamation of the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus Christ. The commandments of God have been proclaimed, but the faith of Jesus Christ has not been proclaimed by Seventh-day Adventists as of equal importance, the law and the gospel going hand in hand. I cannot find language to express this subject in its fullness.  {1888 217.3}
     "The faith of Jesus." It is talked of, but not understood. What constitutes the faith of Jesus, that belongs, to the third angel's message? Jesus becoming our sin-bearer that He might become our sin-pardoning Saviour. He was treated as we deserve to be treated. He came to our world and took our sins that we might take His righteousness. Faith in the ability of Christ to save us amply and fully and entirely is the faith of Jesus
 {1888 217.4}
     The only safety for the Israelites was blood upon the doorposts. God said, "When I see the blood, I will pass over you" (Exodus 12:13). All other devices for safety would be without avail. Nothing but the blood on the doorposts would bar the way that the angel of death should not enter. There is salvation for the sinner in the blood of Jesus Christ alone, which cleanseth us from all sin. The man with a cultivated intellect may have vast stores of knowledge, he may engage in theological speculations, he may be great and honored of men and be considered the repository of knowledge, but unless he has a saving knowledge of Christ crucified for him, and by faith lays hold of the righteousness of Christ, he is lost. Christ "was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon  him; and with his stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). "Saved by the blood of Jesus Christ," will be our only hope for time and our song throughout eternity.  {1888 218.1}

The Lord will not leave his afflicted, tried children to be the sport of Satan's temptations. It is our privilege to trust in Jesus. The heavens are full of rich blessings, and it is our privilege to have the joy of Christ in us that our joy may be full. We have not because we ask not, or because we do not pray in faith, believing that we shall be blessed with the special influence of the Holy Spirit. To the true seeker through the mediation of Christ the gracious influences of the Holy Spirit are imparted in order that the receiver may impart a knowledge of saving truth. Why do we not believe the plain "Thus saith the Lord"? Do not cease to pray under any circumstances. The spirit may be willing but the flesh may be weak, but Jesus knows all about that. In your weakness you are not to be anxious; for anxiety means doubt and distrust. You are simply to believe that Christ is able to save unto the uttermost all who come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for us. What does intercession comprehend?--It is the golden chain which binds finite man to the throne of the infinite God. The human agent whom Christ has died to save importunes the throne of God, and his petition is taken up by Jesus, who has purchased him with his own blood. Our great High Priest places his righteousness on the side of the sincere suppliant, and the prayer of Christ blends with that of the human petitioner. Christ has urged that his people pray without ceasing. This does not mean that we should always be upon our knees, but that prayer is to be as the breath of the soul. Our silent requests, wherever we may be, are to be ascending unto God, and Jesus, our Advocate, pleads in our behalf, bearing up with the incense of his righteousness our requests to the Father. The Lord Jesus loves his people, and when they put their trust in him, depending wholly upon him, he strengthens them. He will live through them, giving them the inspiration of his sanctifying Spirit, imparting to the soul a vital transfusion of himself. He acts through their faculties, and causes them to choose his will and to act out his character. With the apostle Paul they then may say. "I am crucified with Christ; nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." Christ impresses upon the mind of believers the fact that they are to have the glory which the Father has given him, in order that all who love and serve him may be one with God. "For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me. . . . And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory [character], which thou hast given me; for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world."  {SSW, February 1, 1896 par. 3}

Revelation 3:9  Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
10  Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

You think, that those who worship before the saint's feet, (Revelation 3:9), will at last be saved. Here I must differ with you; for God shew me that this class were professed Adventists, who had fallen away, and "crucified to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame." And in the "hour of temptation," which is yet to come, to show out every one's true character, they will know that they are forever lost; and overwhelmed with anguish of spirit, they will bow at the saint's feet.  {WLF 12.2}

Then I was shown a company who were howling in agony. On their garments was written in large characters, "Thou art weighed in the balance, and found wanting." I asked who this company were. The angel said, "These are they who once kept the Sabbath, and have given it up." I heard them cry with a loud voice, "We have believed in Thy coming, and taught it with energy." And while they were speaking, their eyes would fall upon their garments and see the writing, and then they would wail aloud. I saw that they had drunk of the deep waters, and fouled the residue with their feet,--trodden the Sabbath underfoot,--and that was why they were weighed in the balance and found wanting. {CET 101.1}

If the work Sr White said to be done was done, no SDA ministers would ever leave God's calling and the faith

"How little we can do in our own power to help the people that are misled by the false theories that are ever kept before them by their false shepherds. Our earnest cry to God is, "It is time, O Lord, for thee to work: for they have made void thy law. Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold.' We are in the midst of troublous times. Catholicism is making sure and decided inroads, embracing in its cruel arms the Protestant world. In disloyalty, men and women are making void the law of God, and he will punish them for their iniquity. The earth shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.' The Lord is slow to anger and great in power: and will not at all acquit the wicked; the Lord has his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.'  {GH, January 1, 1900 par. 2}
     "If ever there was a time when those who claim to be Christians should be all that the name comprehends, it is now. Are we following Christ in very reality? As Seventh-day Adventists we must be on watch, guarding every point lest the enemy shall set up his standard among us. There is not one semblance of an excuse for our churches to be indifferent and careless. If ever there was a time when the members of our churches should see if they have oil in their vessels with their lamps, it is now, just now, without a moment's hesitancy or delay. This is an individual work. We are to look earnestly to our own standing and accountability. While the Protestant world is being led by the wily sophistry of Catholic doctrines, while the mystery of iniquity is gathering to itself the world of professed Christians, what are we about? Are those who know the truth for this time anchored in Bible doctrine? Are our weapons, 'Thus sayeth the Lord: 'It is written?' Is our anchor cast within the vail? Are we individually rooted and grounded in gospel truth, so that we may be established, strengthened, and settled in the faith? Are we, as those who have the knowledge of the mysteries of God, those to whom God has committed the living oracles, loyal and true to our stewardship? Those who are truly converted will reveal, as missionaries for God, what the truth means to them in its transforming efficiency and sanctifying power. If we are weighted with the treasures of eternal truth, we shall proclaim to a world perishing in sin what it signifies to have the sanctifying, redeeming love of Christ in the soul. . .  {GH, January 1, 1900 par. 3}

     "The world would not be what it now is if professed believers in Christ were receivers of his divine nature. It is the example of men who claim to believe the truth, but who do not practice the truth, that detracts from the influence of Christianity. They hold the truth as a theory, but unrighteousness surely characterizes their course of action. Many reveal that they are far away from Christ, because they are destitute of Christianity. Please read the ninth and tenth chapters of Ezekiel. Should we not seek to understand the work which God requires us to do? Its results are sacred and awful. If one thread of selfishness is woven into God's service, He is greatly dishonored. Unless those who have knowledge of the truth are sanctified through the truth, their profession counts for nothing, and their condemnation will be proportionate to the light granted them, which they have not honored by walking in the light as Christ is in the light. Truth as it is in Jesus is the creating power of Christ. Those who claim to have advanced light must reveal the influence of that light in their words, their deportment, their voice, their actions, at all times and in all places.  {GH, January 1, 1900 par. 4}

The first work of teachers, physicians, directors, is to submit themselves to the yoke of Christ. They must obey the words, 'Take my yoke upon you, and learn of Me.' This is the result of keeping self under the sanctification of the truth. Our first business, and that which should always be made the highest, is to expel from the soul-temple everything that will not harmonize with Christ. His Spirit must abide in us by faith. We are to keep the heart with all diligence, 'for out of it are the issues of life.' Then pleasant words will be spoken, notwithstanding that temptations are pressing in to occupy the soul-temple. The devil is not dead."
                                                           Mrs. E. G. White.
                                                                -
  {GH, January 1, 1900 par. 5}
