I am sad at the passing of my Grandmother. She died this week.
She was a faithful believer until the 1980s, Dr Ford era. Her beliefs increasingly moved away from mainstream Christianity. However, as her death approached, her faith simplified and she focused on Jesus' death and His resurrection.
We are sad and sorrow over the thoughts that this loving person is no longer within our touch. We miss the love and care that this person gave us during life.
It is a sad reminder to us all that we may also be put in the grave before the return of our precious Jesus.
As time passes the pain of this will pass ever so slowly but the memories will never fade.
May our hope be that our loved ones are sleeping in Christ and will be raised at the voice of the Son of God coming in the clouds with his thousands of angels to usher us home.
