Tomorrow i go with the Romanian translator to see 2 or more Romanian publishing houses that print Seventh-day Adventist books. Please, please pray for us.
I feel so small in times like these especially.
Lord willing, i will then see the Moldovian SDA headquarters the next day, and then go up to Ukraine to see what was done with the 1858 Great Controversy books printed there in 2005 (40,000!)
The time spent with the Romanian pastor went very well, and praise God, he has decided to become the distributor for this 1858gc book there!
The bus to Chisinau in Moldova went alright too, and i met with the Moldovan publishing director.
Yesterday i met the Ukrainian publishing director, and found out that they have distributed most all of their books they printed in 2005, and recently printed 25,000 more (with a different cover) with their own money. wow!
Romania is awesome! I preached an evangelistic series there! In the little town of Naoiu, near Cluj-Napoca. It was awesome! I love the country and the people!
That is interesting about the evangelistic series May souls be won to Jesus.
Lord willing, i will be travelling by bus from Romania to Sofia Bulgaria where i plan to meet with the SDA publishing director, then on by bus to Istanbul, where i hope to catch another long-distance bus over to T'bilisi Georgia. Probably it will all take over 50 hours, so please remember me in prayer.
To print the Romanian books, i'm using just about all the funds i brought with me. I had only planned to spend enough to print 2,000 books, but it is just a little bit more to print 4,000, so i decided to scrape up everything, even the special-time yen i had reserved in a secret place for a long time - ha! It is a bit scary, but i do believe the Lord will bless a sacrifice, and make the 270usd i have left go a long way :)
Writing this from Sofia bus terminal: The meeting with the Bulgarian SDA office lasted 15 minutes, and i am quite hopeful that they will approve this project to have the book translated and printed :)
