Will only Jesus the Son come or will the Father the Son and the Holy Ghost come

Before Jesus comes, the Father's voice will be heard from heaven between the 6th and 7th plagues and His voice will raise those that died during the 3rd angel's message. (1858 GC ch. deliverance of the saints)
They will join the 144K that are still alive and awaiting the arrival of the Son. The FAther will announce the time when Jesus will come.

Then Jesus comes and his voice will raise all the rest that were sleeping in Christ through out all the ages....... Then, Jesus arrives with the angels of heaven all around Him. I'm sure that the Holy Spirit of God will be present and living within the saints to be joined with Jesus and taken home. Oh, how I wait for that day.

Is there not only 2 resurrections

The resurrection of the holy and the resurrection of the unholy

Are those who died during the 3rd angels message going to be resurrected between the 6th and 7th plagues or will all the saints that died in Christ be resurrected at his coming in the 1st resurrection ?

Correct.... only 2 resurrections.... of the righteous and the wicked... But if you read GC 1858 it will tell of a special resurrection of the righteous that died as martyrs during the 3rd AM. Ch. on deliverance of the Saints... and they will be a part of the 1st resurrection. And, the people that put them to death will see them alive and faces glowing from the reflection of Christ. wink.gif

There are only two "general" resurrections, as mentioned in Revelation 20:6:
Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years.

The 1858 Great Controversy says, as newbie has noted, that there will be a special resurrection for those who died living under the 3rd Angel's message.  To me, this means that all the saved who have died from 1844-the last person before the Close of Probation will be raised then to hear the voice of God.  The voice of God was heard by Ellen White at midnite, most likely at the very time that the Death Decree was set to go into law.

I'm not sure if there is a special resurrection for those who physically killed Christ also or not, as some places point to them being raised before the 2nd Coming, but some places just showing them being raised with all the other wicked at the 3rd Coming (after the 1,000 years).

So we know for sure that there are 2 general resurrections, and one special resurrection.

Let's all live for God each moment, so that we can either be among the living 144,000 when Jesus comes, or be raised in the special resurrection.

That's right webmaster and I was deluded into thinking other wise because of changing writings and people saying such.... When I studied it out in a bunch of originals, the bible, and James White, it was obvious to me that the first resurrection (including those from the 3rd AM that died as martyrs), comprises only righteous.

The second is for the wicked... all the wicked.

Would that include Moslems?

It depends.... there are good people scattered through out the world in all different religions. Soon, however, they will get their chance to follow the true Shepard. My sheep will know my voice.

All those who have not accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour, or have accepted him in name, but do not love him more than everything else, are "the wicked" who will be raised at the 2nd resurrection.

Granted, there will probably be some who have never heard the name "Jesus" before - people who lived in the jungle yet loved the Lord the best they knew.  But those who had a chance to know, which would include 100% of Moslems as they are told to read the Bible in their Qur'an, yet rejected the real Jesus, would be included.

For religious groups that are not following Jesus, the Jews weigh heaviest on my heart, and the Muslims next.  The Jews did know the true God in the past, yet killed him, and have been forever forsaken of God as a nation.  The Muslims claim to worship the one true God, but again, reject Jesus, so they have no idea that they are not following the true God, but the "ruler of this world".  So sad.  We need to go and show them the true God - Jesus Christ.

It is interesting that just today i got a email from ICC saying that there is an awakening going on in Moslem lands, with many receiving dreams about Jesus, and becoming Christians.  I guess if we don't do the work allotted to us, God will make the stones cry out.

"100% of Moslems" is a harsh judgement in my opinion. Ultimately only God knows who will be saved. May we be cautious in declaring who will be saved and who will be lost.

It is very possible that some Muslims have no oppportunity to get a copy of the Bible i admit.  I made an overstatement and am sorry.  Where are our SDA missionaries that are going in droves to Iraq and Afghanistan and Pakistan to make God's word available to these people?

Thank you for your apology. smile Ministering in a hostile place is not something most people are willing to do, especially if they have children. My husband and I are serving in an unsafe place but we don't have children so it was not a difficult decision to make. Also, most people don't want to give up the comforts of home and a good income.
