Last May, Gordon asked this question, to which i did not reply - sorry cry

"Could you identify the contradiction you have found before 1881, so we can check it out?

Have you noticed contradictions in the four volumes of Spirit of Prophecy, or Sketches from the Life of Paul. These were all printed by 1884."

Well, first for the one and only contradiction i've found in books with her name on them up until the death of her husband in 1881:

In the midst of the garden, near the tree of life, stood the tree
of knowledge of good and evil. Of this tree the Lord commanded our
first parents not to eat, neither to touch it, lest they die. He told
them that they might freely eat of all the trees in the garden except
one; but if they ate of that tree they should surely die.

Eve had overstated the words of God's command. He had said to Adam and Eve, "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil thou shalt not eat of it; for in the day thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." In Eve's controversy with the serpent, she added the clause, "Neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die."

This is the only place i've ever seen where there is a contradiction in books with Ellen White's name on the cover before 1881.
