In the parable of the 10 virgins, all 10 are sleeping. . . If the virgins represent God's people, and the wise virgins are those who give the loud cry who is awake to wake them up. Who is the messenger that says behold the bridegroom cometh?

Hi SDAs

Before you get to the end of parable start at the beginning of the story, set up the scene, this is the story of the Great Wedding of the Lamb, Christ is the Groom and the Virgins were His brides is the Church (Rev 12).  The bride was being prepared for her husband; she did not know what day (date) or time he would come for her and carry her off to the Great Supper of the Lamb.  It is a story which reinforces "...watch, wait and be ready... for you know not what time your Master will come...".  When know that "...the Master was a long time coming..."  All the virgins were invited, how ever some were ill prepared, lost sight of their mission/Master and their lamps burnt out.  One has remember the parable was set in a time when there was no electricity 2000 years ago, so unless you had adequate oil for your lamp you would not been seen - because the environment was totally pitch dark.

The Ten Virgins reinforces another parable, about "...we are the light of the world know one puts a lamp where is cant be seen but places it above so it gives light to all..."

All flesh has the opportunity to hear the Word of God, digest it and yield the fruit that the Heavenly Gardener wants us to yield.  Some are convict by truth and are changed by the message of "Christ our Righteousness", some don’t see the need to change or see the change in others - their oil of joy has gone out.

Where I think your statement says "...the wise virgins are those who give the loud cry...who is the messenger that says ... the bridegroom cometh..."   Historical "...Behold the Bridegroom Cometh..." counter message to the 1st Angel's Message of Revelation 14, the figure in the parable who sounds the last message is the Angel of Revelation 18.  Rev18, is the last pleaded of God to the fallen world and sounded "...come out of her my people..."
I believe that the personal implication of this message is to renounce the world, it’s technology, it’s wealth, corruption, greed, spiritism, sexualism and ANYTHING that takes you away from following Jesus full focused without any distractions.

Jesus is the reason and the absolute truth, way and life everything else does not matter.

God bless
Jeffery
