David Clayton's presentation 'The Omega of Deadly Heresies' offers the historic Adventist perspective on this subject from the prophetic pen of Ellen White. She foresaw the ecumenical snare of pagan doctrine coming into the SDA church and literature. She warned God's people. See the evidence on the above mentioned DVD. I believe it is available for a nominal cost from:

http://www.restorationministry.com/ or http://www.smyrna.org/

I understand that about 2500 of these DVDs were distributed at the 2005 GC Session in St. Louis and some church officials privately admitted our doctrines had been changed.

Last week an Egyptian couple came to the house where i'm currently staying in Pune, India, and tried their anti-trinitarian doctrine on us.  They would not agree that the Holy Spirit is a being, altho they did agree he (it) is a person.  Could someone explain the difference, and is that a normal anti-trinitarian stance?

Also, when asked directly if Jesus is God, they could only stammer and stutter, and finally said that whatever they said would be misunderstood, so they thot it best not to answer at all.  It was the saddest moment i've seen in 6 years from anyone who professed Christianity.  Is this also anti-trinitarian doctrine to not say that Jesus is God?

Daniel,

What is more important, to have a correct understanding about who God is, or to confuse the persons of Jesus and the Father through misrepresentational labelings?  Why does the scripture testify that Jesus said His Father is greater than Him?  Was He lying?  Is it a lie to say that there is a literal Father called God and a literal begotten Son of God, Jesus Christ?  If these are lies to you, then I believe that you have latched onto the spirit of antichrist.

Here are some quotes that may force you to call Ellen White a heretic also Daniel:

"Natural affection for relatives and friends should not lead any soul who sees the light to reject the light, to dishonor God the Father and Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son. Every possible excuse for disobedience will be framed by men who choose, as many did in Christ's day, the favor of men rather than the favor of God. If one chooses wife or children, father or mother, before Christ, that choice will stand through eternal ages, with all its weight of responsibility. . . . " {3SM 401.3}

  "If the Bible was studied and obeyed; if we had the spirit of Christ, we should make determined efforts to be laborers together with God. We should better appreciate the worth of the soul; for every soul converted to God means a vessel dedicated to a holy use, a depositary of truth, a bearer of light to others. God expects more of the schools than has yet been brought forth. Christ has said, "Labor not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life; which the Son of man shall give unto you; for him hath God the Father sealed." [JOHN 6:27.]
                                                                            83
 {CE 82.2}

"The church is God's fortress. His city of refuge, which He holds in a revolted world. Any betrayal of the church is treachery to Him who has bought mankind with the blood of His only-begotten Son. From the beginning, faithful souls have constituted the church on earth. In every age the Lord has had His watchmen, who have borne a faithful testimony to the generation in which they lived. These  sentinels gave the message of warning; and when they were called to lay off their armor, others took up the work. God brought these witnesses into covenant relation with Himself, uniting the church on earth with the church in heaven. He has sent forth His angels to minister to His church, and the gates of hell have not been able to prevail against His people."  {AA 11.2}

These, of course, are just a few quotes.  Will you now call Ellen White a heretic merely because she disagrees with your trinitarian formulae?  You defend her early work Daniel, yet when it comes to trinity, you waffle and buckle to popularity and reputation.  I don't understand you  friend.

The evidence is in.  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Believe it and prosper.

I pray you come back to the platform of truth Dennis-san, as i do wish to see you and talk with you in heaven when we gather around Jesus and repeat the words the Holy Spirit had Thomas speak concerning Jesus: "My Lord and my God!"

Daniel,

You did not answer my question.  Is Ellen White a heretic also?  Were Ellen White and the pioneers wrong on this one or not?  It should be an easy question for you.  Please do not, like those you listen to on the GCO list, skirt the issue and, by so doing, contradict yourself & your theology.  You claim to be so interested in maintaining the integrity of the original writings, yet when it comes to this issue it is trinity all the way.  Can you explain yourself please?

So Daniel,

Do you think that the aposteles, who called Jesus both "Lord and God" would also ask of Jesus, "show us the Father, and it sufficeth us?"

Please also read this text about Phillip's doubt and unbelief:

" Although he had joined himself to Christ, yet his announcement of Him to Nathanael shows that he was not fully convinced of the divinity of Jesus. Though Christ had been proclaimed by the voice from heaven as the Son of God, to Philip He was "Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph."{DA 292.2}

Could it be possible, that you believe since I don't (not because I don't believe Him to be exalted as divine) proclaim Jesus as God at your insistence, that I am an heretic?  But could it also be true that in saying that I believe Him to be the Son of God, I am telling you I do believe in His divinity?  The quote above confirms it in my review...  Why is this not enough for you Daniel? Do you think it is enough for Jesus?
